A former journalist, columnist and essayist reared on the plains of Nebraska, I now live on a high bluff overlooking the Pacific in Lincoln City, Oregon.
I write very short essays, as seen in my latest book, Tea Pie, Love and Reality, and am preparing a second volume of short essays for publication this spring. My upcoming "big book" will be a memoir of life in a male-dominated world as a reporter and member of the now-disappearing "Silent Generation."
My husband, Jim, also is a writer. He and I have published five books, two currently available in print and e-editions. You can see more at www.petersenpublications.com
I've climbed two mountains, reared three interesting girls, written four books.
