    My kids have worn Keen Targhee shoes for years, and they're old enough now to have more opinions - and just being sick of getting the same style/colors. So, we went shopping locally for other options. We discovered the Salomon brand, which was familiar to me from knowing it was rebranded as a special line I bought myself years ago from a major retailer (the retailer themselves told me when they discontinued it, so I could look into them on my own). So, I felt really good about the brand reputation and quality. We found some "cool looking" shoes locally, but they didn't have any waterproof models which we need for camping. Much to my son's frustration, I told him I'd shop online to see what I could find and stumbled upon these. Fit was true to size, and the colors are just as vivid as in the photo. My son LOVES them. I did remove a star for the laces - they are the wire kind with the slider, which they market as a time saver. I'm not worried about durability of that style per se, but it doesn't look as neat when it's fastened, compared to other closure styles. We've already tested out how waterproof they are via puddle hopping in the rain, and will take them camping in a few weeks. My son is ROUGH on shoes and summer will offer more hours in the day to play outside, so I'm sure they'll get worn down, but I'm expecting we'll get these to last us 6 months or so. It's usually a race whether the kids outgrow shoes before they destroy them - time will tell! Overall, I'm really happy with the purchase and will update if anything unexpected pops up.

Die Schnursenkel nutzen sich etwas ab nach der Zeit, aber die kann man ggf. ohne großen Aufwand ersetzen. Die Schuhe haben wir jetzt mehrere Monaten und sie sind noch tadellos in Ordnung 👍🏻. Wir Erwachsene tragen auch gerne die Salomon Outdoorschuhe, mit der Marke macht man nichts falsch wenn man gute Schuhe für Wind und Wetter und Outdooraktivitäten braucht.
