As far as the rest of the shoe goes: this is definitely a LIGHTWEIGHT shoe, so it would probably be uncomfortable to use these on a cement/pavement run for more than a few miles. I honestly prefer the lightweight aspect, and that's why I got them. If I were to run anything more than a 5k on pavement, though, then I'd probably opt to use a different shoe with more cushioning and support. In any case, because these are lightweight, it can almost be hard to tell they're even on your feet some times, save for the ever present narrow toe box. The breathability is quite nice. The lacing system is unique and takes a few tries to get used to, but once you do, it's quite awesome. It's a breeze to get these things on/off in mere seconds, and making quick tightness adjustments is really easy. They also have a little pouch in the tongues to stow the remaining "lace" and clasp--a great design move--so you never have any dangling lace or anything like that in your way.
All in all, I recommend the shoe, but it's not going to be a good fit for everybody--literally!
