P.S. I have over (50) pairs of Thong Sandals. Brands such as Reef Slaps/Reef Fannings/Reef Cervesa Leather,Sanuk Beer Cozy,Cobian Astro/Cobian MMA,Teva Illiums, and many more. However, the Salomon RX Breaks Leather-offer the most foot support and a special footbed dip. This dip or boarder curvicher on the insoles, offer that special design that will assist in keeping your feet in the Sandal. Along with that extra wide foot strap, you should have no problem with that annoying Sandal fly-away.
They are made with a solid piece of plastic that wraps from the inner part of the sole and around to make the top thong.
They're made out of that semi-squishy plastic that Crocs are made out of. The design of the bottom of the shoe gives a little more cushioning due to its design.
I have noticed a little relief in my plantar fasciitis while wearing these, but I don't know that I'd say that they offer THAT much in the way of recovery benefits after running. If they're the right price and you're looking for a comfortable pair of thong sandals, then I'd say go for it. However, for recovery purposes, I'd say you're better of with a good pair of compression socks.
