I purchased these in hopes it would help the intense shoulder pain that attacks at night. My doctor says frozen shoulder, and recommended Salonpas. I tried the ones without lidocaine and two things, they smell and don’t help.These with the lidocaine are odorless and provide moderate relief. I still wake up with pain but nights without them are much, much worse.As I only put them on my shoulder over the socket, I cut them in half, seal the other half up and use the next night. (Picture is half of one on my shoulder)They are very soft spongy material and fit with a slight stretch over the curve of my shoulder. I don’t have any problems keeping them on overnight. Sometimes leave on through the following day. I have not experienced any rash or skin issues.Overall a plus for me.
