I used to be a big fan of Sambazon's Unsweetened Smoothie Packs. I used to drink an entire four pack every night pure, without putting it into the smoothie, for about five years. I just loved the taste!
Unfortunately, lately the company seems changed the recipe. Acai puree is very watery and has so much citric acid in it that all you can taste is citric acid, just basically a sour taste.
Very disappointing! I am very sad to write a review like this for a product I used to love so much. And it is hard to let go of the habit but it simply doesn't taste good any longer.

Love this proudut ... But I get it at whole foods which is the most expensive place to shop and it is less expensive there. (1.57 a bar)The idea behind online shopping is to lower pricing not jack it up!! (here $1.75 a bar) (13.68 more if your buying the 100 bars ) Diappointed with the fact that your making buying something as good as this so costly really cost prohibitive.

Product is great. Saves money by making acai bowls at home. My only complaint is the inside packaging for the fruit isn't very durable and often breaks open when I'm defrosting the fruit in a sink of water.

This product is the most cost efficient that I could find for pure frozen acai berries. By it self it doesn't taste very good. But when added to other fruits, the taste becomes AWEEESOOME. haha! I make fruit smoothies a lot and the acai is a delicious addition and it is also very healthy. look it up! add some kale and BLAMO! you got a super smoothie. =]
