Greetings. I am (now) a 45 year vet of large stage and performance. These stands look great, and the idea is great. But functionally, they are about as bad as any I ever bought.
First, the clamping system for the height adjustment is simply useless: too week and non-adjustable to tighten. The lightest of speakers, cannot be supported and the poles just slip to their lowers setting. And, unlike every other stand, large or small, there is no hole and pin system to set, and stop slippage.
I own 5 other sets of small stands like this, such as Yorkville, On Stage, and some super HD Orange Audio 2000.
More, is the 1-3/8 Shaft is made a tad too big. Though they fit every 1-3/8 speaker I have, which is a lot and in every imaginable size and weight, you literally have to tip the stand, put your foot into the tripod base area, and then twist, pull, yank, and pry to get them off, where once again...the SHAFT for height adjustment moves first, and long before the speaker. You again, have to get that shaft out, grab IT as best you can, and then yank and crank the speaker with one free arm, or find help.
Again, nice idea. They look great. But I hate them, don't use them, and thus don;t even put them up for resale.
