I ordered this for for a surprise 23 year together gift and she was very surprised, but when she opened the the box that was barely taped she took out the luggage to look at and there right on the NON SCRATCH PRODUCT YES THAT IS RIGHT SCRATCHED WOW I PAID OVER $300.00 for a NON SCRATCH PRODUCT WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED, she doesn’t want to send them back at this time because we have trip planed very soon and she is afraid that we would not get a new set in time. Oh wait not only that when I went into customer service to tell them about it you have to take it to be returned, they don’t come to your house to get it, as being older individuals this would be very hard to load and unload! We read and watched videos that said they are scratch resistant. It is very sad that you spend $$$ for well known product and get this done to you. Oh when i try to give the stars on the it would not allow me to choose jus the durability so had to choose 1 star on all without using it on a trip.

Wheels Appear Flimsy

I got this luggage because it was the only one available that would arrive before my trip date. Now that it’s here I am REALLY worried that the wheels will not hold up for the trip. They are skinny wheels and I’m sure they would do fine while pulling in the airport’s smooth surface but I don’t think they will hold up on uneven side walks. I’m going to Mexico and the side walks over there are ruff. Sometimes no side walks and we have to pull on cobble stone roads. *crying inside* honestly it’s my fault I should have just paid more for a better carry on. I am just praying they will hold up on my trip because it’s too late to get anything else.

They’re reasonably priced for the quality. I looked at some luggage pieces and to purchase 3 pieces are almost a mortgage payment. We hope to make another trip, and now feel confident with our new luggage!

Box was in perfect condition. Suitcase was smashed on one corner. I was able to push the plastic back out to where most of the damage was gone. But since the box didn't have any damage I can only conclude that it was damaged before it was put into the box. Beyond that it looks like a decent suitcase but I have doubts as to how well it will last.

Warranty on tags says 10 years, but Samsonite said only 5 years warranty for Canada!
Carry on does not have lock.
