IPS if you prefer color accuracy or TN if you prefer the absolute best motion clarity at the expense of color accuracy, Neither of these 2 options offer the contrast of a VA panel like this and if you had to have one i would suggest the 1440p Samsung Odyssey G7 or a cheaper 144hz variant of this model.
My only issue with this product is that the DirectPort cable that arrived with it did not work. I had to connect my HDMI cable to see the screen. After researching the cable, I was forced to buy a VESA certified DP cord and it worked. Until I turned it off and added some stuff to my computer. Now I am using my HDMI cord again. I expect better from this price point.
Pros - Awome for FPS
1. very good contrast and even blacks.
2. Lowest input lag on any monitor I ever used before. (I own a Dell s2716dg and hp omen x25f) this was faster than them.
3. Lots of customization of picture settings.
4. Simple but very good looking design.
Cons - Dont play Quake RTX on this!
1. Tons of ghosting if your not reaching 100+fps, if you reach 240fps it looks ok.
2. Stand is terrible, no heigh adjust.
3. Screen is over sharpened by default. Took awhile playing with settings to make it look normal.
4. Made my eyes hurt, I dunno why but VA and IPS panels seem to bother my eyes. TN panels don't for some odd reason.
Summary, I play alot of overwatch this monitor was actually awesome for that game. I kinda want to try buying it again and see if maybe the eye strain was just defect in the panel I had. The monitor felt like a CRT from the golden era of gaming. Just wish this panel had faster montion blur 4ms as it claims is a stretch I think. There's no solid monitor reviews of this display, I bet money if they did a input lag test on this it would be at the top of the display heap in that regard because the HP omen x25f I have is suppose to be one of the lowest input lag display and this one felt even better to aim and track targets on.
They dont mind the low Res, but I am a Tech junkie and a nerd . I look for every detail in everything I buy. Don't get me wrong. They look fine but I can see the individual pixels. Specially when the screen is mostly white, like when using a word processor. The solution is to place the display as far away as possible.
I bought this monitor because it was an inexpensive, curved, G-Sync display. I got what I paid for. Don't make my mistake. Pay a little more and get a higher rated monitor.
the price very comport, the lcd not a lot weight,
i like the blue led light on center, samsung products never disappoint
!! AAA+++ good product

I didn't think this monitor could be worst, but when I set it up with the setting at 240 Hz in Windows, Doom Eternal and Subnautica (especially at night) were crazy affected by ghosting. To the point where the image was just unbearable when I was moving in game. Doom was acceptable, but it depended on the color scheme of the level.
I was about to be really disappointed, because it was right on the limit of being a deal breaker. Then I realized that most newer games run around 100 fps with my 2060 and decided to try changing the refresh rate to 120 hz.
I couldn't believe it, it completely solved the issue! Image is crisp and with the G-sync I'm in 1080p gaming heaven!
On other notes, the 27 inch curved display really does a good job of immersing you in the game. For other applications, coming from an iMac 21.5 4k monitor, it's not great because of the pixel density. It's good enough for most application, but the iMac remains for photo editing and stuff like that.
It's a great monitor, but if 240 Hz is the selling point for you, you might want to consider a cheaper screen.
I can say this is the best value and performance for 240hz, 1080p monitor.
