With its design inspired by the curve of the human eye, the Samsung CF390 monitor delivers a comfortable and enjoyable viewing experience for your home or office use.
Featuring an ultra-slim and sleek profile the Samsung CF390 monitor measures less than 0.5inch thick. Make a stylish statement while staying productive with the 24-inch curved screen. The simple circular stand will add a modern look to your space.
Advanced Gaming Experience with AMD FreeSync
AMD FreeSync technology allows users to enjoy smooth images, even during the fastest moving scenes. AMD FreeSync dynamically syncs the screen refresh rate with the frame rate of your content to minimize input latency and dramatically reduce image tearing and stutter during gaming. With its 4ms response time, you’ll see the fastest on-screen motion clearly and smoothly with less motion blur, judder and ghosting. The fast response time provides a steady visual, allowing players to experience their games at the highest level.
Eye Saver Mode
Eye Saver Mode optimizes your viewing comfort by reducing blue light emissions and flickers at the touch of a button. Read documents, play games, watch movies and edit photos for long periods of time, and experience a comfortable and pleasing view, without worrying about eye strain or fatigue.
Brilliant Picture Quality
Experience vibrant, stunningly vivid colors with Samsung's Active Crystal Color technology. The excellent 3000:1 contrast ratio delivers deep blacks and bright whites so you can clearly see even in the darkest or brightest scene.
Eco-Saving Plus Feature
The Eco-Saving Plus feature reduces screen brightness to save power, plus the screen brightness automatically transitions fluidly - reducing energy use even more. The monitor itself is also constructed without PVC* .

Mount-It! MI-2789 Triple Monitor Stand Freestanding LCD Computer Screen Desk Mount for 19, 20, 22, 23, 24 Inch Monitors VESA 75 and 100 Compatible Full Motion, 66 lbs Capacity (3 Horizontal Monitor)
The main thing I don't like about it is the pixel response time. It's a VA panel, which are notorious for poor response times, and this is no different. Advertised response times on almost any monitor are a lie, but this one is a bold faced lie(I think they say 5ms...it's definitely not). Manufacturers try to combat this(especially with VA panels) by incorporating an overdrive feature. The "fast" and "faster" response time settings on this monitor, like with most monitors with overdrive, cause inverse ghosting/pixel overshooting. It's especially noticeable on the "faster" setting, you'll notice it with your mouse when hovering across anything dark, and you'll notice it in a lot of games. You can basically eliminate pixel overshooting by using the "normal" response time setting, but then we get right back to the issues that are inherent to VA panels. So you basically have 3 choices: tons of motion blur(normal), some motion blur plus some inverse ghosting(fast), or heavy inverse ghosting with little to no motion blur(faster).
This monitor tries to come off as an affordable "gaming monitor" but it's basically a cheap panel with a few extra features thrown in(curved screen, Freesync, monitor overdrive). If you play games that are faster paced, look elsewhere. If you play slower games and want the immersion of a curved screen at a good price...maybe wait until it's on sale.
Now...for the people out there who just want a nice curved desktop monitor...this display does have some pretty good color quality. One thing inherently good about VA panels is they typically have far superior contrast ratio and deeper blacks than IPS and TN panels. There is some mild color banding, but nothing compared to what you typically see from a TN panel. I've watched a lot of YouTube and some Netflix with this monitor and it did really well for that. But as I said to the gamers...wait until it's on sale.
- I read a lot about the eye saver stuff, and how well it works. That's great and all, but as far as colors are concerned, they get all muddy and dull. I'm not sure I'll be using that a lot.
- It'll take a bit for me to get used a curved monitor. So far, it's pretty rad.
- Monitor is super bright and very sharp.
- No dead pixels on this that I can see.
- The power button is also a menu joystick. Very easy to use, and very user friendly menu.
- There is an audio port in the back...never tested, never will.
- Monitor ONLY has 1x HDMI and 1x VGA ports in the back... VGA? Really?
The display is matte. I have two large windows right behind me and there is no glare issue whatsoever.
I need to mention that you can see the backlight bleed around edges when looking at the screen at an angle. Not when sitting at your desk, but when, say, walking around the room and looking at it from its side. Personally, this is not an issue for me since when I'm using a screen, I am usually right in front of it (especially with a curved screen like this). In this case, there is no bleeding I can see, and that's what matters to me.
