worked like a charm on my Samsung dryer DV328AEW/XAA. It rang up 9.5 ohms on the multimeter and that's the ballpark number to expect per some videos on the youtube. I am not at all a handy person and this is the first appliance that I opened up and fixed myself. So, am quite happy that it worked out without any issues (other than some initial burning smell which did not totally surprise me as it came just out of the box and I had my dryer vent open when I switched it on).

We saved a ton of money with this part. After researching what could be the issue with my Samsung dryer that was not putting out any heat, I determined it was most likely the heating element. A quick search on Amazon brought me to this little gem right here. They even ask you the model number to ensure you are getting the correct part for your model. Perfect! It was by far the least expensive price for the part that I could find and 2 day shipping on top of that . What can beat that? With a short YouTube video and a 30 minutes of time, we saved ourselves a couple hundred dollars. The installation was simple and well worth the time and effort to save the money on an overpriced appliance repair. I highly recommend this!

It fit perfectly and was very hot but less than a month later we are once again without a dryer. We have a large family and average a load a day so it worked for about 21 loads. I was seriously hoping that it would stand the test of time, but that hope was dashed.
Edit: Well it turns out it wasn't the heating element. While testing it with a multimeter I noticed that one of the wires that connect to the heating element was burnt completely through. So now I have to figure out how to fix the wire🤔.+

We were able to save a lot of time and money by purchasing this heating element and installing it at home, rather than calling out a repairman to fix the issue. This element saved us over $300! When we called the repairman, he said he wouldn't be able to get to our house to look at the washer for two or three days, and we would have had to wait for him to get the part to repair it after he diagnosed the problem. Repairs were estimated to be around $300 with parts and labor (sight unseen). I was surprised that I could find the part on Amazon, and thanks to Amazon Prime, I was able to have it shipped to my house in no time. We were able to have the element delivered and had it installed before the repairman would have even made it to the house.

Our Samsung front-loader dryer stopped heating. After troubleshooting, I figured out that the heating element must be the issue. I've never repaired a dryer before, but when I figured out that a service call would cost me a couple hundred dollars, I figured I would try to replace it myself. There are a ton of YouTube videos, and I watched three. It wasn't difficult at all. The entire process, from start to finish, took only 45 minutes. I'm a female who likes to do her own repairs, but I really think anyone, whether they've tried things before or not, can watch the videos and figure it out. I repaired it a week ago, and it is still working well! I especially appreciated that it was OEM. Repairing my entire problem for $15 was wonderful!!!

So happy I bought this. Took me about 45 minutes to remove old heater and install this replacement. I was deliberately slow too keeping track of what screws went where during disassembly. Starting it back up we got tons of heat with plenty of high fives. https://youtu.be/_jp7Sq4OMgQ was a good video to watch prior to and during. My Samsung dryer was not exactly like the model in video but it will make sense what to do as you disassemble you unit. Also I never moved my dryer away from wall. Only rear access needed is two screws at the top back. You can use a socket to remove by feel as the back screws have hex heads. Drier top slides straight back too so top clearance is not an issue. Needlenose pliers and Phillips screwdriver only other tools needed.
Make sure you unplug or at least turn your breaker off to ensure no power getting to dryer-Safety first!

I was wavering between buying this and buying the whole duct assembly because I couldn't see the trick to extract the electrical connections. Finally found a hint that illustrated how the spades have a little bent wings that keep them in place. Super simple once you know what to look for. Saved a ton fixing my Samsung dryer. I had let the outlet air pipe to become restricted, as have many others. Thank goodness we have the internet to bring us cheap parts. The only difficult part of the repair was getting the belt back on the tension idler while the drum is back in place. Discovered after the fact that I didn't need to remove the drum to extract the heating element...but I did have easier access and was able to vacuum everything clean because of my extra effort. Here's to hoping another 8 years go by without service.

As described. Great price. So far I've done about four loads and all is back to normal. My husband installed it and since I didn't hear any sounds while he was doing it it must have been pretty straight forward. Videos on youtube helped.

I'm so glad we purchased this part to fix my dryer, it's not simple to do the replacement but its totally worth trying. We went on you tube and looked for the video on how it is done, followed the guy's instructions and fix it! Woo-hoo!

Our dryer was running but no heat. To have a repair person come would be 300-400 dollars depending on what the problem was and more then likely they wouldn't have the part that day anyway. So we decided to order the heating element and fix it ourselves. Was very leery about purchasing an off brand replacement part but I have not been disappointed! The price was about 1/3 the price of buying the Samsung part locally. It has been working fine for about 3 months now. Could be our imagination but my husband and I both think it dries faster then it ever did! Glad I took the chance and did the work ourselves. Our Samsung dryer is about 7 years old and we considered replacing it over paying 300 dollars for a repair. The removal and replacement was as easy as You Tube described but it was well worth the sweat equity!
