I love that I don't have to use the power button. I can close the case the phone turns off. I can open the case and the phone turns on.

The case is very light and adds very little bulk to the phone. It slides easily into and out of my pocket.

The awards on display only displays notifications through the cover for 5 second.

I would have preferred a little more protection around the corners of the phone.

I would have preferred is there was some mechanism to keep the case closed. A magnet, a clasp etc.

When the front cover is flipped around behind the phone the curved cover points outward. This curve pokes into your hand and can be a little uncomfortable when holding the phone.

Nice thought but poor execution

So I like the thought of this case but the actually functionality and execution of the case is lacking. So here are some things to know. 1) See the photo of the case with the phone in it? See the time/date and icons that would certainly be helpful to see all the time? Yea, they are not there. When you close the case that information stays on for 10 seconds then goes away. You can set the case to display time/date but no icons. 2) Many reviewers have stated this and it is true so be aware that after a week or so of use, the case will not stay closed on the phone. There is no magnet or any other sort of clasp to make the cover stay closed. This is not the best design. 3) This case will only provide minimal protection to drops. While I like that my screen is protected from dust and scratching, the entire case itself is pretty thin and not very durable. 4) While the case is closed you can answer or ignore calls without opening the case. All in all I think if I had to purchase this again I'd pass. I'd be willing to overlook the lack of functions if the case were able to stay closed better (with a magnet perhaps) but as is I'd say avoid if possible.

This case is very nice quality and has a decent unintended usefulness.If you fold it over and rest the back against some object,you can use it as a viewing stand.The bottom grips ,I was even able to move to different angles and it didn’t fall in an hour and a half viewing.The case doesn’t list this as a feature but it works.The outside has a nice texture to it and you can completely fold it over,you won’t be able to take a picture using the rear camera of course.The S-viewer is a neat feature,it goes to sleep fairly quickly but a lift up and back down awakes it.The swipe to go between notifications and music works well,and a tap to answer or decline a call.It is a very slim design,even smaller than my smallest hard plastic case.You get a little protection but you get full screen protection.One interesting thing is the wake feature uses the fingerprint reader,and it seems the fingerprint reader works better because it is actively getting awakened.

For most people who use the Note product,this is a very good choice.Great slim design and grip texture,also conveys a professional look.Fairly inexpensive,worth getting as a second case,I recommend to Samsung users.

When I show people the case they all like the immediate rotation of the clock to the side. Only issue I've found with this is that if you have an alarm and the cover is on the phone it's a silent alarm. I think you can fix this in settings, but it's not mentioned anywhere and I over slept.

First off, Love the flip cases style. Had one for my note 8, s8plus, and now my note 10 plus. It's a cool feature to have the face of the case to display stuff that is extended from the phone when the flip is shut. Loved that about it on my note 8, and this one isnt as big of an area like the note 8 was, this one only bordering the side if the phone that opens, it's still pretty neat to have certain info displayed when the case is shut closed. The only thing that needs to cared for is that it does not offer ironclad full protection from drops. It will do the job for the most part, but if your phone falls and hits the ground a certain way, particularly having the impact point being directly on one of the corners, expect your screen to get cracked pretty severely. This was the case with the s8plus that my wife had. She had it on her lap and when we were at a gas station, she forgot it was on her lap as she was getting out of the car. Sitting in a dodge charger, from her lap to the ground is not a very long fall. But alas, point if impact was right on its upper right corner, and it created a sizable spider web with its core starting from northeast and expanded outwardly southwest.

She did not have a screen protector on either. Although the screen was not directly impacted, it is uncertain if one was on if it would of prevented the damage by providing just a little extra support simply by being on the screen. Think putting tape on your windows during a hurricane. It's my opinion that a screen protector may reduce the impact radius of vulnerability, however still, if impact is directly on the corner, as was my wife's phone, perhaps the cracking may of been less severe, but I highly doubt it would of survived without suffering some type of damage at all.

Also, the case for the 8s also featured a kickstand basically via the case's flap. When opened, the flap could bend in its center so that you could prop your phone horizontally for like when you wanted to watch a video or something. This case here does not. Superior phone this year. Inferior case.

The pack came Open, with the box broken but at least the product came in good conditions. The case is ok, not perfect and could damage the screen. I had a note 8 with the same case and I didn't Like that they took of the feature to stand the case. IT works perfect with the phone and the on screen display.

Great look, but leaves alot to be desired for the notification panel performance. Outside of notification symbols you need to 'open the cover for more details'. Pretty boring & not much fun for how pricey it is. For a former Galaxy note edge owner, I was pretty disappointed. The note edge's edge panel was way more interactive than this cover, & again for the price of this cover you would think it would do more. $$$
