My biggest concern was whether an "international" dual sim card phone would be compatible with my existing StraightTalk prepaid plan in Illinois. I ordered my new NANO SIM card and got the phone up an running without a problem. Originally, I struggled with getting the phone to receive data, which is included in my carrier plan. After an unsuccessful call to StraightTalk tech support, I realized the problem wasn't due to inaccurate APN settings, but because I had not selected the installed SIM card in the settings/SIM card manager option.
The dual SIM card feature in this phone is pretty cool. You can easily purchase a prepaid international SIM card if needed, and use the phone abroad. Then you have the option of toggling back and forth between SIM cards whenever necessary.
Battery lasts all day - come back home after 9 hours at work with WiFi on and still have 50% battery power (on my previous phone Galaxy S4, the battery died even before I got back home). very clear screen, fast response and amazing camera.
and I love the wireless charging feature.
on the down side, too bad Samsung got rid of the replaceable battery and memory extension. and too bad they changed the bottom left key function (now it reveals ruining apps, previously it was opening the app menu). 3 competitive advantages they had over iPhone.
It looks good! Finally! As you probably heard before, the Galaxy now looks premium. The only issue I have is that as the back of the phone is made of glass I think its a bit slippery, but a simple case is enough to handle this.
The battery is not really enough for me. I usually find myself looking for the charger in the middle of the afternoon. I would happily go for a phone 2mm thicker with a bigger battery.
I'm really into photos and used to have a Lumia 1020, which is great for photos but only for that. I was afraid the sensor on Galaxy S6 could be too small to make good photos...but it turns out, I was wrong. The post processing algorithms are great producing photos that are really sharp and vivid. Its not on par with the Lumia in low light photos as the sensor on this one is almost 2 times bigger...but is good enough. For me, its on the same level as the LG G4 and sligtly better than the Iphone 6 Plus.
This version is the Dual Sim version and it works fine for me. Im currently using it in Brazil and its working fine with the 4G networks here.
Battery life could be better, but otherwise the best phone I've ever had...and I had quite a few.
(a) (dual sim) you cannot associate a SIM with a contact/number - your only option is to have a box pop-up each time requesting which SIM to use for calling out.
(b) Fingerprint authentication is iffy at times requiring you to enter your password
(c) I'm definitely missing the ability to expand storage with an SD card - I'm already managing storage and its only been a couple months.
I still need to research, but LTE doesn't show up on the screen, but H+ does show up on data sim. Not sure if I have to do special US specific configurations on LTE...

This is the worst phone I ever had. In addition to that, Samsung has the worst post sales service I've ever seen.
