Das Gerät ist wirklich super. Das Display ist toll, die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, das Gewicht passt, der Sound ist ebenso spitze und die Performance zwar nicht mehr Highend aber dennoch völlig ausreichend. Bisschen schade ist das - zumindest aktuell - Netflix noch kein Full HD auf dem Gerät unterstützt obwohl eigentlich die Widevine Voraussetzung da ist. Hier wird wohl Netflix noch mit einem Update nachbessern müssen in der Zukunft.
Allerdings hilft das alles nichts, weil das WLAN eine einzige Katastophe ist. Wenn man das Gerät nur Zuhause - in der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Router - verwenden will, kann es noch funktionieren. Wenn aber ein paar Wände zwischen Router und dem Gerät sind, ist der Empfang quasi kaum noch vorhanden. Unabhängig davon ob man das Gerät "falsch" hält oder es einfach aufm Tisch liegt. Andere Geräte die direkt daneben liegen haben einen super Empfang, das S5E leider teilweise gar keinen mehr. Besonders problematisch ist sowas im Urlaub, wo man eben nicht in jedem Hotelzimmer einen super Empfang hat. Hier wird das Tablet wohl leider völlig versagen. Fazit: Schönes Gerät, allerdings scheinbar mit einer völligen Fehlkonstruktion was das WLAN angeht. Ob ein zukünftiges Software-Update hier noch irgendwas lösen kann oder ob man auf eine neue Revision warten muss bleibt abzuwarten. Im aktuell Zustand werde ich das Gerät leider zurück schicken müssen. Schade :/
