Very poorly designed cover for Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet

This case has been very poorly designed. No slots in the case for front and back cameras, so you have to pretty much take it out of the case every time you want to use the front or back camera. Even if you want to just browse the internet or use an app with the tablet in the case, the magnetic flap to secure the cover when not in use sticks out, and creates a visual/ergonomic hindrance.

The front cover does not remain secure and slips sideways on the screen when carrying the tablet with the cover on, which defeats the very purpose of a protective cover. Also, slots to keep stuff (cards etc) on the inside of the front cover is a very poor design idea. You normally do not want to expose the lcd screen to anything other than the soft material on the inside of the front cover as anything else kept there might scratch the screen.

I am returning this item and will be looking for a better case.

WhenIpurchased my GalaxyTab 10.1 I was leaving town from the store so I bought the Belkin case that Verizon sells. It is not only ugly,but so tight that it turns on the device when inserted into the case. I have grown to hate it and hope to return it. There has got to be a looser and more attractive case out there

I also purchased the keyboard dock which requires a "naked" device. This case is perfect! It is attractive, and easily pops in and out of the case. The only thing I would add would be a small loop to hold a stylus or pen:-)

The leather is good quality and since I carry my tech in a protective case,this is perfect!

This economically priced case fits well in a business environment. The elastic and leather corner-holders keep the device anchored more securely than I had assumed by solely looking at the image. The top-left elastic barely overlaps the on/off button but this design oversight hasn't inadvertently powered on the device. The cameras are blocked by this case when closed (the rear camera, even when the case is open) but we are not using the cameras so this is actually preferred. The cover's magnetic latch (that normally holds the case shut) can be folded backwards and latched to backside to keep it out of the way when the case is open. Arranging the open case in this manner adds thickness and isn't convenient but it does keep the latch out of the way. Overall the case seems to be a good value despite its limitations.
