Still exploring the product as I just received it. My first impression: I wish the product description stated that this uses Micro-USB. I would not have bought it had I known that. I'm surprised that a new Samsung item in 2019 still uses Micro-USB. It came with an adapter (USB-C to Micro-USB), but it still isn't convenient.

The kids mode is awesome, the tablet works fine, but I'm so tired if technology regressing and Samsung and similar companies thinking they need to withhold features and not let us customize anything. Tried to force it to allow in developer mode and it still didn't work.

We did love it, until we ran out of space and found out we can't transfer apps to the SD card. Useless. My son had 32GB of apps within the first week (mostly educational apps with reading and math games). Well now we can't have any more apps. Such regression in technology.By Ato on July 21, 2020

BEWARE! The box arrived with no seal! When I took it out of the Amazon box, not only did I notice that the tablet's box had no seal but it seemed like it wasn't closed properly (the top cover was wobbly). When I opened it, the little paper casing that holds the manual was sitting at the bottom left corner as can be seen in the picture instead of in its designated slot. Not sure how it is possible for it to move on its own with the tablet resting on top. This is most definitely a returned product. I emailed the seller and he is adamant that this is brand new. I had posted a question asking if others had also received this with no seal and people answered that their boxes were all sealed. The seller said the he "can not vouch for other customers", and insisted that this is brand new, and also that he always receives these tablets from Samsung with no seal. I almost bought what he was saying until I decided to do a closer inspection of the tablet. There is a big scratch at the back of the tablet on the top which is not visible to the naked eye because of the material. I shone a flash light on it and moved the tablet around under it, that's when I caught it. There is also another small scratch next to the charging port. I am going to be sending this back for a refund. Waste of my time going to the post office! Absolutely disappointed!Reviewed in Canada on January 24, 2021

I ordered another one that is sold by Amazon directly. Notice the little casing in the second picture. There is a little tab at the top to open it from. It looks perfectly in place whereas the one I had ordered from this seller clearly had it opened before as it's not perfectly smooth as can be seen in the first picture. I did not do that myself!!! I never write such long, detailed reviews usually but I was so extremely disappointed with this specially after how adamant the seller was on it being brand new! Now if someone at Amazon's fulfillment centre had fidgeted around with it, and that's why I received it the way I did, that I don't know. I don't even know if that's possible. Anyway, sending it back.
