What is an unlocked phone? An unlocked phone is a device that is not bound to any carrier or plan. It allows you to choose your phone first and your carrier second. Upon selecting a plan, simply insert the carrier's SIM card into the phone and you're ready to go. If you decide you want to change carriers down the road or want to take an international trip, it's as simple as replacing your existing SIM card with a new SIM and activating your new plan. Complete Garbage!

Ordered this phone on April 16th, About a month and a half later phone is not working. Phone reboots randomly for no reason. This is utterly unbelievable. Spent so much on this phone and not even last two months. Complete GARBAGE! Will me making a formal complaint with this company this is highly unacceptable. Definitely lost my trust in buying products from Amazon.

This one great device. Well built and functional. It's design. This phone has great features and as a phablet it very functional. It was bought as a gift for an engineer and so far i get nothing but good price on it s functionality. Ease of use especially since it comes with a stylus pen. The person say they also get complemented on the phone all the time. They work out on the field a lot so I also got them a rugged case to help protect the phone and might I say they love it even more now

This is Great, But
First, this a QUANTUM leap for me in TECH having now given up on my Antique cellphone -also a Samsung. It does FAR more than I currently have command. It is an exceptional device, and it does take a bit of getting used to pecking with the S Pen. As you see it can be done! Really the Pen is a rather nice element, especially for selecting and copying.
The overall size and feel are very good,but size can be a two-edge "sword". It is a very large screen, great for viewing but not for placing in any pocket.
The Seller delivered this phone extremely quick, even sooner then expected -yeah.
Of course what''s a new phablet without fun & games. The preloaded Apps arequite useful. I did get an added 64Gb card, which at this time seems overkill but who knows.
PRO: All the above and more uses to come.
CON: The recharging adapter is some two-pieces bulky monstrosity from some hacked Radio Shack spare parts bin REALLY! The first part no doubt easily connects with some Flintstone style outlet, then the easily self-disassembling US "adapter" adapter is placed in front of it. WELL, It does charge the phone, but leaves behind through uninsulated prongs exposing live contacts - SHOCKINGLY Genius. The odd thing is that I had bought my wife the exact same model but from a different supplier. Her Note4 has the typical ONE-PIECE International capable charger that in fact does work overseas. THIS is why I can'tell give this a 5Star rating.
Perhaps Samsung or the reseller could forward me the more typical, less hazardous adapter. Just a thought.

Having had a Galaxy Note, a Note 2, and now this beautiful Note 4, I am in a position to say how fabulous this phone is. It is slimline, though well built. It is fast, with sharp images. The change to the writing recognition is great. The pressure sensitivity, and the interface for the S-pen writing is a great improvement. I like have used the S-voice ability on my last phone, and still use it on this one. You double tap the home button, and speak to the phone... ask it questions, get the weather, set alarms, timers, get conversions for things. Pretty nifty. Multi-tasking is a breeze with the Note 4. I use my Note more than I use my laptop. Who needs a bulky tablet with an incredible clear, sharp screened phone like this.

My dad had a Note 2 that he loved but his butter fingers let it slip somewhere and he lost it.

So, we got him this newer note phone since once you go smartphone you don't come back, and he LOVES it.
I really like this phone for my dad because he is a journalist and a very "anti-tech" one, lol. You can make the font really big and he can take notes with the pen, it also takes great quality pictures and has many features that I know he loves. Even the health apps are good since he monitors his stats.
Overall, this is a very user friendly phone and if my dad can use it and even take advantage of it, then everyone can

I begin by saying that I have usually been a Samsung cell phone fan. Not this time, however. I have now had this phone for not even a year and a half and it has had issues from the start. I have never been able to use the speaker phone function. I can hear fine, but my voice does not get picked up. It is the same even when I hold the phone close to my mouth when NOT in speaker mode. So there has always been something wrong with the mic, but not seriously enough for this to be covered under warranty. These days my phone will not even call out some times. I have to restart the phone in order for it to work again. The apps and the size and the note function are all great, but this particular phone has been a bit of a dud, almost like a lemon. I am sad to say that I might get an iPhone 6 next time since my girlfriend has one and has not had any problems at all with it.

If you are looking for a factory unlocked phone this is not it. I used a t-mobile card in this when I was in the USA and it worked fine. When I tried to use it overseas with a local carrier's SIM, the phone required a UICC unlock code, which I did not have. I called t-mobile thinking that somehow they had locked my phone. When they looked it up they said the phone was not unlocked and that there must have been a carrier that this phone came from but they didn't know which carrier. Now I am overseas and have no way to unlock the phone, so I will have to purchase another phone locally.

2 Weeks into the note 4 life things are going awesome. Then one afternoon while using my phone the screen goes blank. I try and try and try to get it back but to no avail. After doing research on research i found out that i had to factory reset the device which i did and it work. Long story short IM NOT IMPRESSED THAT AFTER 2 WEEKS OF USING THIS PHONE i have to go through this. I'll now be monitoring this device for a period of time to decide if i will be returning or not. Really hate having to write this review things were going too good. Will update soon
