Great picture which is what a TV experience is mostly about. Even non-HD sources look better on this device than on my older non-4K, non-Ultra HD. The sound quality is better than the older Samsung I owned but could still be improved. Stereo separation is almost nonexistent. I tend to play the audio through my home stereo system. I do't have a home theater sound system so i can't evaluate this TV's compatibility with such.
There are additional features this set offers, which I have not explored, but might later when I see a need for them. For example, I can with this TV, but don't want to, surf the Internet, nor link it with my computer.
Unfortunately, there continues to be limited UHD programming available. I have neither dish nor cable TV service but subscribe to Netflix (offers a dozen or so UHD programs with a subscription fee increase) and Amazon Prime (no UHD, at this time).
The apps available through Samsung are very limited. This has been an on-going problem that I wish the management at Samsung would address. Or maybe there is an application I haven't discovered that would increase app choices. I use Roku to watch a number of services, such as CBSN or SKY TV or ESPN 3. Connecting Roku was very easy, as was attaching an older Blu-Ray-capable Samsung DVD player.
We don't use the TV for gaming, so I can't say anything about how well it handles rapid visual movements, but I would not suspect there could be problems.
I've had very good luck with Samsung media products: I found the Samsung UN40JU6500 a great TV.

Smart hub won't activate

TV came in one piece. Picture looks good but smart hub won't activate. Spent hours trouble shooting and talking with Samsung tech support....got nowhere with them. They claimed it was my ISP but the network works great with other devices and the TV does connect to Internet. Very frustrating. Reading other people's reviews on other sites and they are experiencing the same problem. Very disappointed. Want a return

I bought this TV for my wife and the first one arrived damaged but within 5 days I had another in good working order. Firmware update and then programing and bingo... fantastic TV. Simple easy to use, fairly priced. BTW, exchange was very easy.

Nice for price

As of July 2015, let me say that this is one of the least expensive options for a 4:4:4 60Hz 4k options out there, and it works splendidly as a monitor. Even on my non-gaming rig, which is equipped with 4k at 30hz, makes for a perfectly usable experience; surfing online, streaming video, even graphics intensive apps like Photoshop are fine.

Dislikes:
- No buttons on the monitor. There is a small joystick on the right back that allows basic functions like power, volume, etc.
- No standby mode. It will shut down (as in turn off) after 2hrs of no signal, but you'll have to turn it on again manually, as opposed to automatically coming on with resumption of signal.
