* Picture - Very vibrant colors, lots of options, lots of settings. You can enable/disable the 240hz motion display, set to Cinema mode and customize the colors/options very well. Picture is nice and fast - BluRay looks absolutely amazing and the Xbox One really shines on this console at 32bit color depth, 1080p/60.
* Size - its not a "slim" set by "slim" standards of today, but its much more slim and lighter than my old 37" set it replaced. It fit on my existing mount and installed without any hassle. The 50" (49.5) panel is absolutely perfect if you ask me. Great viewing size, great with games, great with movies, great with my PC. I wouldn't want anything smaller and I'm not sure its worth paying more to go larger - most people go so large the issues of LCD / LED and even 1080p resolution come into fact and they don't know the larger the TV, the larger you may need to sit back to not see such artifacts..
* Screen - There is a bit of reflection on the panel with daylight.. i haven't seen a panel that doesn't have this issue and really, after looking at my old tv, its only noticeable because this thing is just HUGE - more to reflect.
* Remote - basic.. i won't use it much. I have mine connected to the Xbox One and it recognized the TV and allows me to use the voice and SmartGlass controls to control the TV.
* Audio - I'm not using the Audio, I go from Xbox One to Receiver then TV - My Receiver does the audio decoding/playback. Sorry.. i'm just not investing in a 50" TV to be stuck with 2 speaker audio and not sure why anyone would :)
* HDMI Ports - It has two. That's it. I can't stand it when people know this and yet rate the tv negatively. Go buy a receiver with multiple HDMI inputs and listen/watch/play on your TV in surround sound as it was meant to be :)
* USB Port - Has a USB slot that will allow it to update firmware as well as play media.. I'll probably never use it, but its there.
My TV was packed inside a separate shipping unit very nicely, I only had problem with the holiday shipping being delayed in Mesquite Texas during the UPS Holiday backup they had. I wouldn't hesitate to order a set from Amazon in the future, just don't do it around the Holidays :)
Gaming on this TV so far has been awesome. I'm not seeing feeling/seeing any latency from the Xbox One and the 1080p and even 720p games look absolutely beautiful, color rich and sharp sharp sharp! Playing Forza 5 looks amazing, Max is crystal clear, Peggle two really pops on this display and Assassins Creed is just awesome. I was able to set the Xbox One to 1080p, 32bit color depth and RGB colors. I also ran the Xbox One calibration tool to make sure the colors were sharp and detail was set as i wanted and after doing that, i was able to leave the HDMI port in Cinema mode and have everything look amazing.
Have i said amazing enough yet? :) No dead pixels, great packaging, easy install and I was gaming within 5 minutes of opening the box!

Pros: Great picture, good for video games, easy to carry, quality for price.
Cons: Only 2 HDMI inputs, TV-stand leans the TV on a slight angle.
Also make sure you order through Amazon instead of a third-party. The company I purchased this TV through delivered it to my door and left it outside on my porch. I live on a main street of my city so theft isn't a huge concern but I would feel better had it been delivered with Amazon's white-glove delivery.
It does only have 2 HDMI inputs. I don't care, because my A/V receiver has 6, and that's where I do my switching. I also don't care that it's not a "smart" TV. I got a Roku box. I prefer to keep those functions in separate products, just like I stayed away from the combo TV/VCR units long ago. I can update each function if and when neccessary as technology evolves over time.
If you are looking for a TV that does not need the smart TV functions, 3D functions, extra ports into the TV, but has a great picture, this is the TV for you.
Do the recommended settings per the earlier review and you will be good to go. Sound is OK for everyday use; you can always add in your surround or extra speakers at a later date if the sound bothers you. In my experience the only sound issues I found were when there were loud gun shots or explosions on the TV, they were sometimes out of whack with the rest of the show, but not always. Again, it doesn't bother me enough to go out and buy a sound system to bypass it, but that would be my only complaint.
I use a PS3, DVD player, android stream box, and Chromecast through this at the moment and the display is fantastic. What you pay for with this TV is the panel, the screen itself. It is about as good as you could get at this price point without 3D (I don't care for 3D for function vs price) or smart TV (get that through a streambox anyway).
hung on the wall for years ( replaced three capacitors for $12 and still looking good and now resides in a smaller room). The 65"
Samsung fills the space with such clarity whether its with a PS4 game or a movie, it allows you to relax knowing you've made a good choice! 3D and Smart TV were options which added about $300...and since I use a Blu ray DVD or the PS4 to watch Vudu, Netflix, Amazon etc....and a DVR to keep track of favorites...don't really need the Smart portion ...or am I about to plunge into the 3D Market.
Great choice for a big screen.
