With a Delkin USB 3.0 Multi-Card reader that supports UHS-II; this card gets 92MB/s read and 84MB/s write.
With my Surface Book 2 built-in SD card slot, this card gets 98MB/s read and 75MB/s write
Update - changed to 2*
If you read the fine print on SanDisk's website or the product packaging you'll see that it requires proprietary technology to achieve the full 170MB/s read. Otherwise it maxes out at around standard UHS-I speeds of 90MB/s read, 80MB/s write. (It's called a standard for a reason.)
At first I thought my laptop's integrated card reader just wasn't up to par so I tried an external one, same results. It seems the only device capable of achieving these speeds is SanDisk's own USB 3.0 card reader, and other certified/participating devices (which so far includes nothing else). Normally I'd be upset about this but, at the time of writing, this model is almost the exact same price as the 95MB/s model, only a few cents higher. So I can't really complain, it's not like I was swindled out of more money, it's basically the same price, with the potential ability to read and write faster should you purchase their USB card reader. I'm giving it three stars because it is misleading to boldly print 170MB/s, when that's not achievable by 99% of customers. Otherwise, so far it seems like a fine card, as long as it doesn't suddenly die I may bump it up to 4 stars in the future.
The real ones are good cards but normal usage will not give you the "rated" speeds. This is true for any memory card and not just these so keep that in mind when you read about speeds not being achieved. In order to get the "rated" speeds, all the conditions have to be ideal and most users simply don't have ideal conditions.
That being said I use these in my DSLR cameras and I do shoot in burst mode often. I have found the speeds on these to be more than enough to handle a burst of fast action shots. I've not had any occasion where the card is what let me down.
I just started replacing all my 8 and 16GB SD cards for 64GB ones just so I don't have to carry as many and I like the better performance of the newer cards. I've had good results from SanDisk in the past and now with these too.
I'll buy them again. Just make sure when they arrive that they are the real deal and not a fake. If you get a fake send it back immediately and Amazon will make good on it.
Prior review. This is a downgrade from my prior 5 star review. While the card was working, it was great. However, while pulling it out of my Pelican card case, I noticed that the sd card's case was splitting open along the seam (sort of like a book opening). I was in the field and it was my last card, so I put a tiny amount of superglue on it and re-sealed the case. The card worked fine for another month or so, then failed - none of my cameras could see it, and it wasn't locked. I contacted Sandisk and they said that because I glued it back together, I voided the warranty. That really shouldn't matter, because glue or no glue, the case cracked open, and they claim these are super-durable. I've never had a Transcend or PNY card fail, so will be going with them in the future

Vergogna!!! Venditore da bannare da Amazon!

Writing speed: 81.9 MByte/s
Reading speed: 89.1 MByte/s
I am aware it says "up to 170MB/s" however this is pretty far from it, isn't it? It even says the same thing on the card, it's not like it's a typo on the Amazon page. Why???
Was soll der Mist !!!! Nicht mal 50MB / s packt die Karte ! Was für eine Mogelpackung !!!! Finger weg !!!!
Karten gehen zurück! Will mein Geld wiederhaben!
Tested both on synthetic tests and real life tests.
Print quality of the label and font details looked rather dodgy at times. Returned.
I only ever use 32GB cards (I have half a dozen of them!) because, although their content is regularly backed up to memory sticks or hard drives, I'd rather risk losing only that amount of data than that on one of the larger capacity cards. I can't even begin to imagine what I'd do if a 512GB card crashed!
Two 32GB cards work out slightly cheaper per gigabyte than one 64GB too (59p compared to 61p). However, it has to be admitted that the larger cards beat them both on price (the 512GB card is around 46p per gigabyte).
SanDisk makes a reliable product but if you are using a fake card it will fail at some point and you will lose your photos. Buy at your own risk.

1. Good writing speed for photography and uploading to PC
2. Enough storage size for a good price.
3. I feel safer using this card, it seems based on my experience with other brands that there's a lower chance of SanDisk Extreme Pro cards malfunctioning.
4. It also looks nice (I don't know if this is something people care about, but I like it)
1. I can't comment on tech support, as I haven't had to use it.
2. Writing speed not 170MB/s (so the described speed actually refers to the read speed, but if you want speeds like this, you have to be willing to pay loads more, no matter the brand. Write speed is still fast enough for all the photos and videos I've ever had to shoot).
