I decided to purchase the 32Gb Sandisk Extreme rather than the Extreme Pro - mainly because it seems the Pro version is only available in a 16Gb version(?). After testing this card on my new GoPro HERO3: Black Edition (w/the latest 3.03 firmware) in all high resolution and frame rate modes with Protune on (minimum 15 minutes each test), I can say that this card handles it as expected without any issues. However, (as noted in various forums) the new GoPro firmware apparently limits the max bitrate to 35Kbps rather than 45Kbps on all Sandisk cards due to the previous issues with their Ultra cards, and I can personally confirm this is indeed the case. Although I'm satisfied with this card, I may buy another brand of card so that I won't be limited to only 35K - especially since I do a fair amount of video editing in high resolution and prefer the higher bitrate.

Bought this microSDHC card to go in my new GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition. Very happy with the purchase, have not experienced any problems with the card or it's ability to keep up with the GoPro's recording speeds.

So i just got it in and rand a test, came out to over 90mb/sec read, 60mb/sec write. i don't know if i have a mystical card reader, but the packaging only claims up to 80/50.

So far no issues, other than that the one thing i could nitpick is that the SD card adapter feels a bit cheap, but that's a minor nitpick

Just purchased Samsung Note 3 and bought this memory to go with it. I have Samsung Note & Note 2, both have SanDisk Ultra.

While Ultra is probably more than adequate for half the price, I'm very pleased with my purchase for following reasons:
1. It simply works. Plugged in and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 recognized and used it.
2. I've moved files between internal and sd card memory, no problems and it's fast
3. I discoverd the SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android which is awesome.
3a. App checks internal memory speed, but not sd card, hmm?
3b. Allows you see everything stored on internal and added memory via GUI
3c. You can move files between internal, added memory and the cloud.
3d. You can protect files with password.
3e. And it's super easy to use.

SERIOUSLY go to google apps store, watch video and read description, then down load and try it. Discovering this app alone was worth price difference.

I plan to buy another 64GB extreme card when I get Samsung 2014 Note 10.1 later this month or early next month. Want to get familiar with Note 3 first.

Is this card worth double what the ultra cost, probably not for 90% of people out there, but if you can afford it then I recommend it. Rugged and durable spec and added speed if need is worth it. I use my Note 3 heavily, it's not a phone, it's a miniturized computer.

I'll try to find app that can test speed of both internal and added memory later time permitting and post results here.

I downloaded and tried A1 SD Bench...

481 MB/s read - 5.

I ended up buying the 32 GB SanDisk Extreme after realizing a previously purchased SanDisk 64 GB microSDXC card (from GoPro) would not work with looping mode on my GoPro Hero 3+ Black. Shame on GoPro for not warning customers of something they are very familiar with! They are very aware of the fact that the 64 GB cards are formatted in exFAT and are not compatible with their camera's looping function. You would not be aware of this problem unless you researched various forums and learned that GoPro is only telling customers of this on a case-by-case basis. They should state it with a description of the card on their website. $100 down the drain.

This 32 GB card is what you need if you want to use your GoPro as a dash cam and desire looping functionality. It has worked great so far.

I'm using this card as an additional hard drive to my 2011 MacBook Pro using Nifty Drive. So my performance testing is via the Macbook Pro internal SD card reader. Multiple testings using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test yielded results consistently writing at 50+MB/s and reading at 75-83MB/s. If you're using a device compatible with the upper limits of its speed capabilities, you'll actually reach the advertised speed results.

I expected fast, but I'm honestly surprised to see the card meeting the advertised speeds. I previously had the Sandisk 64GB Ultra version of this SDXC card, and the slow speeds always impeded my use as a true additional internal hard drive. The additional cost over Ultra is completely worth it.

Bravo Sandisk, Bravo.

I've uploaded an image of my speed test to the product description and posted a link here: [...]

I purchased these for use with a GoPro camera. They work as expected. The 32GB card will hold 2 hours and 6 minutes of video when recording at 1080 at 60fps.
