The quality of this card is relative to how you plan on using it. I bought it last year to use in my point and shoot digital camera (12MP) while on vacation and it worked perfectly. No, a year later, I've bought a DSLR and found it just wasn't up to snuff. My DSLR (26MP) creates files of too large a size for this card to quickly save. Want to take one picture? Fine, but be prepared to wait 20+ seconds for it to be fully saved onto the card, during which time you will be unable to take any other photos. Want to shoot in burst mode? Forget about it; it's not going to work.

What I had been unaware of when I first bought this card is that memory cards have speed ratings which indicate how quickly they can process the data you want to write on them. To further complicate things, there are two types of ratings, Speed Class and Ultra High Speed. Speed classes come in four ratings, C2, C4, C6, and C10, which means they can write data at a rate of 2MB/s, 4MB/s, 6MB/s, and 10MB/s, respectively, or UHS comes in UHS U1 and U3, which writes at speeds of 10MB/s and 30MB/s. The higher the MB/s, the better the card.

This card writes at a C4 speed (as indicated by the number 4 encircled by a C on the label). It's a decent speed for smaller files, but considering a RAW photo files can be rather large, if you're shooting high res, RAW files, this is not the card for you. It will absolutely freeze up your camera.
If you are interested in an SD card for a DSLR, look at something like the Lexar Professional 600x 32GB SDHC UHS-I Flash Memory Card LSD32GCRBNA600 . Since switching to the C10/U1 Lexar, I've been infinitely more happy with my camera. The Sandisk C4 32GB remains in my point and shoot, where it's better suited.

I'm not a tech wiz but I'm by no means a complete moron when it comes to technology but I was somewhat distressed to find how little I knew about memory cards. I had received one with a little no frills digital camera a few years ago & had used them already but a recent faux pas brought my ignorance to light. I was at one of my daughter's competitions with my little Panasonic video camera intending to record her show (she does color guard). We had bought the video camera a couple of years ago. It needed a memory card so I just took the one out of my other camera thinking that's what I needed. Here's where not realizing the difference between MB and GB ruined my plans.Trying to record the show, I kept getting the message that the memory was full. Turns out... The card was just 512MB! Those of you in the know are laughing I'm sure...yep, that may be fine for photos but NOT video..So after finding out 1 GB is roughly the same as 1000 MB, I knew what to look for. This card has a good amount of memory. I've recorded several of my daughter's routines and still show as having just under half the memory available. I also have found that you get what you pay for. I bought a generic card that didn't work and another that got corrupted quickly so I only trust SanDisk now! My next step is getting a 32GB and having a backup card at all times!

There is a lot of talk about fake SD cards of all type out there. I tested these on my Win8.1 system and this one here purchased from AMAZON is all good. I tested it with OS and tested the read/write with H2testw. On a side note, if you do use the H2w test, keep in mind it is a destructive test (backup your data), and you will have to go into the card and delete the r/w files (This PC/Device Mgr.), otherwise your SD device will show your memory as full. On a 32GB card you should get a minimum of 29 to 30 r/w files, which stand for 29/30gb true. That's about right for a 32gb SDHC card.

Note; I only recommend buying cards from Amazon directly, as do many other reviewers, and others advise staying away from buying cards from shady websites unless they absolutely guarantee their products without hassle or b.s.

I only give it 4 STARS coz I feel that retailers and SD card manufacturers need to do more to protect their customers and come up with a system that can quickly identify fake cards before criminals try to flood the market with them.

I sure am glad the digital camera I use takes up to 32 Gigabytes memory cards like this one! This simple itty-bitty memory card can hold as many as 10,000 pictures and up to 80 minutes of video footage! Even at maximum capacity, if your PC can handle a memory card that powerful, with at least 1 Terabyte of memory on the hard drive! Good thing I thought ahead with this little-giant, literal Digimon (Digital Monster), since my sister's having a new baby, and my family wants lots of pictures of the baby's first year on Earth, like with my niece Hayley in HER 1st year! If you have big events like that happening, it's a great idea to get memory cards at 32 Gigabytes or more, if your camera can take them! Just be careful if your camera slows down turning on, when you have LOTS of pictures that you just cannot delete!

I've had three of these. Of the three, the first one was fine. The second one develeped an error, and I lost a day's worth of photos (They were all our Halloween photos, so I was pretty bummed.) But I figured it was a fluke, and I had gotten a lemon. Enter card three - halfway to full, it suddenly is no longer readable with the camera, while other devices read it as "empty". I try to back up regularly, but in this case I hadn't been - we have a new baby, and it's been hard to get time to process photos. Anyway, they are all gone. I lost a month of photos. Once I understand, s... happens. But twice? It's the product.

The SanDisk works very well in my Nintendo 3DSXL. I had the original 4GB one and this only allowed me to store one game. If you want to transfer your save files from your old SD card to the new one then do the following:
Take out the old SD card and place it into the PC SD card reader slot (Or a card reader USB if you have one)
Copy the file that says "Nintendo". Do not do anything to this folder just right click copy and paste it into something like your Documents.
Place the new SD card into the reader once the files are copied. Just drag them onto the new SD.
You will now be able to continue where you left off on the new SD card on your 3DS.

I have had no problem with this SD cards reading or writing. It is very fast when it comes to reading and writing game files and I am enjoying using it. I can now store my other downloaded games that I had to remove from the DS to install Pokemon Sun.

Very pleased with the purchase. Price was very good for the amount of storage provided. This card is being used to replace a smaller storage sized SD-card used inside a Nintendo 3DS (2011 edition). 32GB is 'officially' the maximum supported by the Nintendo 3DS without having to make any modifications to the card. (There are ways of making higher storage cards work with the 3DS, but for me personally 32GB was more than enough.)

Bought this for my Audi A3 Cabriolet and its perfect! Didn't register in my computer straight away and I had to update my computer but after that all good. The one thing I will say is don't forget to unlock it on the side before you try and put it in the computer, my blonde ass didn't figure that out for a good 15 minutes! Managed to put over a thousand songs on it and still lots of room. The point of buying this was to be able to have the cord in the glove box for aux and then all the songs on my ipod on this instead so I can listen to both. Works well!

Warmth? What is that meant to mean? The card was not warm, thank god. Nor did it give me a warm feeling in my tum tum... weird...

It's an SD card, good value for money and it's done the job I needed it to no fuss.

I will say though it's ridiculous the amount of packaging it came in, I know the amazon stuff is recycled for the most part but still..
