This is the second iXpand I have purchased. I use it with my iPad Tablet on planes and travel. It's convenient to carry, and holds enough entertainment to keep me busy on 10-16 hour flights and 4 day stays in Europe and the Orient, without missing a beat. I don't sleep at all on planes and not too well on trips, so having this is a god send. I usually go to the Hotel's 24 hr fitness center, pop it in, and walk/jog/run on a treadmill for 10-16 miles watching Dragonball Z, Naruto Shipudden, One Piece or other shows I convert from the DVD box sets I buy here from Amazon. It is for my personal viewing only, and not distributed. It helps me pass the time, and an average episode is 2.5 miles when I am running, or 2 miles when I jog, or 1.5 when I walk
As for the SanDisk itself, it is very sturdy aluminum I think and the USB port is hard fixed with a dust cap. The Thunderbolt port leaves a bit to be desired, it is on a flexible gooseneck, but doesn't quite flex like I think they intended. It comes up about 45° and you have to put it in with the drive dangling off the back side of the player.

Great usb for heavy iphone users
This is one of the best items I purchased this year. As I use my phone more and more it was becoming frustrating that I have no way to expand my phone's memory or easily transfer items from my phone to my computer. This solved all my probelms. I purchased it for a trip to Spain because I use my iphone as my camera and to watch videos on it. I knew I wouldn't have enough memory on my phone. Every couple of days on the trip I just plugged this into my phone, transfered my pictures and videos to the iXpand and deleted them from my phone. I also put movies on the iXpand which I could then watch on my phone. It was great to just pull out my phone instead of having to get out my laptop to watch them. I've started using it for work as well becuase I was tired of having 2 to 3 different usb flash drives and trying to keep track of where everything was. There is so much memory on this device I don't need any others. There is an app that you must put on your phone in order to use the iXpand but it is easy to download and with a little time easy to use. The device is not perfect and I've listed some of it's flaws in greater detail below. I would definitely buy this again.Pros: 1. Large amount of memory, 2. Ayant remarqué depuis des mois cette clé sur internet, j'ai longuement hésité avant de l'acheter.
J'ai donc fini par faire le premier pas et l'ai commandé sur Amazon.
Je suis extrêmement satisfait de la clé! Elle est très pratique. Pour que la clé fonctionne, nous devons télécharger une application depuis l'App Store (gratuite) du nom d'iXpand Sandisk.
On peux y lire beaucoup de vidéos, ce qui nous permet d'éviter de s'embêter à ajouter une vidéo depuis iTunes. On peux aussi y lire musique et visionner des photos...
Elle dispose d'une batterie interne qui est sert à ne pas pomper sur la batterie de l'Device avec lequel vous l'utiliser. L'état de la batterie est représenté par une Led (Vert Orange...). La batterie est excellente, elle tient longtemps, jusqu'ici elle ne m'a jamais lâché, je l'ai pourtant utilisé dès fois 6 heures...
La taille de la clé, à cause de sa batterie interne, peut être un inconvénient pour certains...
La clé parait solide, j'ai fais la bourde la faire tomber sur du bitume, elle a eu une simple égratignure à peine visible.
