microSD = good, adapter = bad
the microSD card works like it's supposed to, but I have issues with the adapter (maybe it's just me).1) my microSD card got stuck in the adapter the first time I used it, and I'm afraid to try it again (had to use pliers, hemostats, and eventually just used my teeth to pull the microSD card back out). I read online that sometimes the first couple times it's tight, but my other adapters were never a problem so I just used this new microSD card in one of my old adapters2) the adapter won't stay in the "unlocked" position even when I slide the lock tab "up" towards the top of the adapter. so my computer kept saying my microSD card was write-protected (because the adapter would flip back into the "lock" position everytime I inserted it into the computer.Photos are attached, the slider is too loose. I put it in the computer with the slider in the up (unlocked) position but then when you stick it in the computer the slider goes down (locked) position and the microSD card becomes "locked" and "write-protected". the slider bar (for locking/unlocking) is the problem. if you have another adapter you'll be fine, but if you don't have another adapter this will make your microSD card basically useless since you can't write anything on it due to this adapter being faulty.

The manuals for my Yaesu FTM-300 mobile Ham transceiver and Yaesu FT-5D handheld transceiver specify Class 4 microSD card of 32GB or less. I use these cards to program repeater frequencies and other radio settings into both units using software on my computer. I have several of these cards, each covering a different geographic area where I travel, and they work perfectly every time. They've never failed me, and you can't beat the price.

Item was delivered as promised with an adapter. NOTE: Make sure your device can accept a Class 4 MicroSDHC card. Newer devices require a class 10 or higher. This does NOT work well on newer Kindle Fire devices. It is not fast enough or your device may not accept it. This item is also not returnable. **Still gave it 4 stars because it was my bad, that I did not research the type of SD card we needed. It's a great price if it will work on your device. We were able to find the correct SD card type for $2 more. Hope that helps.
