This card, which cost $80 nine months ago and now sells for $43, is junk. Unfortunately, the warranty is only for 30 days. Amazon stated that I needed this specific kind of card to run on their Fire tablet (5th generation). If Amazon (I blame them since they said only this card would work on their tablet) can't do better than a 30 day warranty then my next tablet won't be a Fire. Reading other one star reviews, I am not the only person stuck with a defective card.

About 10-15 years ago, when you bought a memory card, you had to format it with the device you were going to use it with. Now, it's Plug and Play (PnP), which means you just connect the product and that's it, no other action required. I'm very thankful for that. It takes a lot of headache out of just trying to use a memory card. I received this card, plugged it into my tablet and verified the extra memory was present, and that's it! No issues!

Not sure about this yet. Most of my apps could not be moved to this card. Despite changing the settings to save everything possible from my Kindle Fire, the only thing that has saved to it is music. To be fair, I haven't tried videos yet but photos aren't saving there or books. It was a little too expensive for what it actually can save on there.

I bought this 32 GB micro SD card when I purchased the new Kindle Fire. Works fantastic! Very easy to put in and the Kindle will ask you if you want to save your files to this Micro SD card. This particular card is actually designed and tested to work with your Kindle Fire or Fire TV. I haven't attempted to test it with any other product (like my laptop). It's a Class 10 memory card with read speeds up to 48MB/s, which means you will have no trouble streaming HD movies, playing apps, reading books, etc. that are stored on your card. I see that some other people had problems with theirs (I believe they were using the 128GB card for the most part) but I have had absolutely no problems with my 32GB card. I would recommend it!

I am not a techie so all I know is that it works in my Kindle Fire8. It seems to be very fast when saving data and there are no indications of any lost or corrupted data. I bought it because it was advertised with the words "Guaranteed to work with the new Kindle Fir 8". I have seen others that are a little cheaper on Amazon but not with the same guarantee.

I ordered this SD card along with Amazon's new $50 Fire tablet they have just released. I got this SD card a week earlier then expected. It came in a clean and proper packaging. It has instructions with it, and the actual SD card was vacuum sealed inside of a cardboard packaging. Very neat looking, and all safety precautions were taken. The SD card words like a dream. I popped it into my son's new tablet and off he went with it. My son was very happy with the size SD card for the money. Very impressive. I am super satisfied with this SD card & that is a hard thing for me to say concerning electronics.

Bought from amazon in August and used in my kindle
I noticed my kindle not updating after the installation of Alexa I reset my kindle to factory specs and found I still couldn't install updates .
I thought it was something on my SD card that was causing it so I erased it and then noticed it wasn't erased so I I pulled it out of my kindle and tried to reformat it on NY laptop I couldn't format it or write anything to it.
I was able to upgrade my apps on my kindle again (without the SD card installed)
I went to Sandisks website and submitted this info and am currently waiting for any kind of communication (yay or nay) on replacing the card
I hope it was a one in a million bad SD card because I'm going to buy another - I'm tired of waiting for any answer from Sandisk

My only regret is that I didn't buy the 128 card. This installs easily into your Kindle (if it's a 5th generation or better). The only reason that I wish I had gotten more memory is because it's downloaded into the card. Once that's full, you'll need to purchase a new card and when you take this card out, you take everything that's on it out as well. Of course, you can always swap it in and out.
My Kindle is the 10" 5th Generation and it's only 2 months old. If you are in the market, I highly recommend you buy the one with 64 already on it and then purchase the 128 card. You will then have 198 GB. That will follow you from Kindle to Kindle, when you have to replace one. You will need that space for all the years to come. It's not like a cloud. What gets downloaded into the card takes up that space, once it's full, it's full. Then you will start to use the memory that comes with your Kindle. You can choose what you want downloaded to the card in your settings. Default mode is automatically set for the card.
Hope that helped more than confused, lol.

After less than 5 months - this card no longer works with my Amazon Kindle Fire. The tablet no longer recognizes it. I always thought SanDisk was a good brand name, but am very disappointed.

I tried powering off my Kindle, removing it and re-inserting it, but no joy. The tablet seems to know a card is there, but cannot access any apps or information that was on it. Looking into contacting SanDisk.
