I'm disappointed. I thought Kia would be one bad dude. Hard core even.
There really wasn't much done as far as the scenes are concerned.
There is one very brief suspension scene without much detail.
What I did enjoy was getting to know Case, seeing Erin blossom and of course as always, Ian.
I really didn't care for Jared either. I hope the action, spankings and comedic presence of Ian are more prevalent in the next book.
The story was great.
Loved getting updates on everyone's lives.
Can't wait until June.
Romance/sex was as awesome as always.
Loved Jared. Really loved him
Just didn't like Kori. I think I may hold Lexi in a higher standings.
I will read the next book.
Since coming to Sanctum, Kori has kept to playing in the shallow end of the pool, sticking to Doms with a light touch—the friendly ones who wink and never bring their subs to tears. Her last Dom had used her, cheated on her and stolen from her, so she's hidden her masochistic nature from everyone at the club out of fear of losing herself in an unhealthy Master/slave relationship again. And though she wants Kai and craves his dark, dominant nature, she’s smart enough to stay away from him. Having been down that road before, Kori knows it can only lead to heartache.
When the FBI recruits Kai for an operation with McKay-Taggart, his world is turned upside down. On the trail of a serial killer who's left a wake of victims around the world, the Feds have determined that every murder has coincided with a film crew being in the city. More specifically, with a movie or television show starring international superstar Jared Johns—Kai’s estranged brother. So when the production company filming the adaptation of Love After Death—a book written by Serena Dean-Miles as part of her romantic series Soldiers and Doms—comes to Sanctum because the film's star—Jared—needs a Dom to mentor him through the role of the crop-wielding ex-spy whose dead wife returns from the grave, Kai is forced to deal with his family issues along with a desperate hunt for a serial killer. And when circumstances throw Kori and Kai together, they quickly discover the chemistry between them is undeniable.
Another great addition to the series, From Sanctum With Love is an erotic, thrilling, suspenseful story with a rich, complex plot. There was so much going on in this book, but I loved it all. The ever evolving storyline surrounding the McKay-Taggart team and the Collective takes somewhat of a backseat in this installment, but I actually enjoyed this departure from the norm. There was danger, mystery, secrets and betrayals, and of course...romance. And though this was Kai and Kori's story, the author provided plenty of teasers suggesting what's to come—the hunt for Theo is on!
