About Sandy Hill
Sandy Hill is a former newspaper editor who lives in North Carolina with her husband, also an author. She has drawn on her knowledge of tae kwon do, figure skating, strength training and journalism for some of her novels. Her Bernese Mountain Dog figures in several of her cozy mysteries. She is busily learning Spanish to help with her volunteer work tutoring adults in ESL. JUST OUT: "Shadow Dance," a different mystery that she was inspired to write after a foray into the world of amateur ice dancing, and "The Friends of Flat Flora," a tale of three women and a lifelong friendship ruptured by betrayal that takes place at one of the author's favorite vacation spots, Ocracoke, NC.
