The problem this has presented is that I like Sanita - I like this brand. So when I went to order a pair of black patent leather Sanita clogs, I went with the size 38 thinking I'd see if the 38 fit better. WAAAYYYYY to big. I exchanged for a 37 - STILL too big. I'm exchanging for a 36. Gah.
Anyways, I've had these pink clogs for over a year and I really really like them. They wear very well and don't squeak when I walk. They've stayed in great shape. The exception to this is the stitching around the sole - it's actually little metal staples painted green. The paint wears off and so you can see the metal. Not a real issue. I haven't had any problems with these shoes stretching, sort of a bummer because as I said above, they're a bit too small.
Working an 8 hour restaurant shift in these clogs was horrible. The insoles aren't absorbent at all, so a layer of moisture built up between my foot and the insole, creating a slippery situation inside my shoe. This resulted in twisted ankles and blisters.
They're true to size, exactly what I wanted but the materials are horrible. I suppose they'd be good for general walking around shoes (thus 2 and not 1 star), but for work, they're a failure. It's too bad, because this type of clog is FOR work.
Back to my old Danskos ... the Sanitas are not a comparable replacement
Otherwise, they are very comfortable and obviously so cute. Nice to wear something different than everyone else in the hospital with ugly brown and black clogs...
