When these shoes arrived at my door and I tried them on, it was like wearing a glove, they fit perfectly.
Before discovering these little miracle workers, I wore a variety of tennis shoes to work where I stand all day.
I would give these 5 stars because they are awesome as far as comfort and ability to make it through my long work day.

I wrote this under Sanita Purple 2nd's clog as well. You see I have used everyone else's reviews to purchase goods and they have been so very helpful in making my decisions and people's reviews have been spot on and saved me $$$ So I hope you find this helpful.

I wanted something that you can stand all day in and the people at the hospital all wear clogs. So, I did my clog research and found that Dansko and Sanita appear to be "the" clogs to wear. I have found in my research that apparently Dansko clogs were made by Sanita until 2007, however Dansko are now manufactured in China but Sanita are still manufactured in Denmark. Now, I have never owned a pair of clogs previously so, this is a completely unbiased opinion based on what I have observed.

Since I had no idea which clogs would be better I purchased both a pair of Dansko clogs and Sanita clogs in the SAME size. I got both clogs around the same date and I put them side by side to compare the two bands.

Both were around the same length, so sizing was comparable. I found that the Sanita clogs were narrower in fit than the Dansko, both across the heel (width) and across the "broad" part of the foot. Now, I have a narrow foot and the Sanitas fitted beautifully, the Danskos were too wide. However, if you have a medium to wide foot, I would say that you would be better off going with a Dansko, but if you have a medium to narrow foot you would be better off with a Sanita. I'm guessing if you are a medium it would depend upon your preference of how the clog would fit. If you prefer a closer fit go with the Sanita, if you like a wide fit go with the Dansko. In any case, both clogs feel nice and comfortable on the ground, so if you're standing all day it should not be a bother. It would only be a problem if you have to walk. I found the Dansko's hard to walk in only because they are too wide for me.

My job requires me to be on my feet between 12 and 16 hours per day, 5 or 6 days each week. Dansko clogs have been a saving grace for much of my 15 year career, and are the only reason I am still able to work such long days. They absorb much of the shock from walking on hard surfaces, they accommodate swollen feet, they improve my posture - which alleviates a lot of back pain -, and the extra thickness of the sole keeps my feet warm and dry whilst walking in snow and on cold surfaces. I've owned five pairs of Dansko clogs over the last 10 years, and I have worn all of them until the insides were shredded and/or the toes were worn through.
When it came time to replace my most recent pair, out of sheer curiosity and frugality I decided to compare Dansko to Sanita. I ordered 1 pair of Cabrio leather clogs and 1 pair of Patent Leather clogs from each company. The Dansko were the new XP, which purport to have memory foam inserts.
A number of years ago, I started ordering my clogs one size bigger than my normal shoes. I'm not sure why clogs fit this way for me, but I get better support for my instep with the larger size. Moreover, my first couple of pairs of clogs were so stretched out after a couple of months of "breaking in", that they no longer looked professionally appropriate to wear with my uniform. A lot of people complain that the toe box on both the Dansko and Sanita clogs is narrow. I find that the toe box is sufficiently roomy if I order the next size up. If it makes a difference, my normal size is an 8 1/2medium, but I wear a 40medium (9.5-10m) in both Dansko and Sanita clogs. Since I began wearing the size 40 clogs, the toe box holds its shape and the leather doesn't crack as much on the sides.

After wearing Dansko clogs for 25 years I decided to buy a pair of Sanita clogs because I liked a color that was not offered by Dansko. After 3 months the clogs began to peel. I contacted the seller from Amazom who instructed me to contact Sanita directly. At first Sanita told me I needed to deal with seller and they could not help me. After several emails they finally relented and asked for photos, which I gladly sent. I was told it was normal wear and tear and I could purchase a new pair for 50% off. The clogs were only worn inside at the hospital. See email from Sanita below:

Thank you for providing me with these photos. I forward them to our Quality Control Department for review and they have determined that the peeling you are experiencing is from wear and tear. Unfortunately wear and tear is not covered under the manufacturing warranty. Although we are unable to replace your clogs, we'd like to offer you a 50% discount on a brand new pair. Please allow up to 24 business hours for approval on our end. As soon as we approve your request, you will receive an email confirming so and will then be able to shop at your leisure. Don't forget to use the invitation code upon checkout to apply the discount to your order. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us!

I love everything about these shoes except, the wear and tear part. I bought a second pair of these a little over a year, while the first pair(white) is still intact the second pair (black) did start to peel and soon after crack, unfortunately according to the company it is wear and tear. I am not sure if this is a bad batch, because the first ones that I bought over two years ago (same style different color) still looks great, as far as customer service go, I feel that there is a lot to be desired, the minimum should be to at least try to inquire more about their product. I am not sure if my expectations are too high, but if I spend $90+ on shoes I will at least like to get a couple of years out of them, just saying. Because of this experience I will say that I certainly will not be buying this shoes again. I will give Dansko a try and if they don't work will continue to explore.
