Enjoy delicious grilled food with friends and family at any time of year with Sanyo's virtually smoke-free indoor barbeque grill. The large 120 square inch non-stick cooking surface allows for plenty of space to cook multiple food items. A powerful 850 Watt heating element along with an adjustable thermostat control provides even cooking at the temperature of your choice. The non-stick grill surface sears foods like a traditional barbeque and allows excess fat to drain into the removable drip pan to ensure virtually smoke-free, healthy cooking. Easy clean up is accomplished with the dishwasher safe drip pan plus the grill surface is coated on both sides to make cleaning quick. Cool touch handles and base protect you from the heating surface. Easy to store with convenient stacking storage design. Includes multi-language instructional manual.

This grill just takes too long to cook. Tried it with a pork tenderloin piece the first time which never did get done- ended up eating half raw tenderloin. Tonight I cooked a chicken breast for ten minutes and just left it on high and it didn't get done either. This just doesn't get it done in terms of convenience and efficiency and Sanyo should make this with a lid. Also I cleaned the grill plate good the first time but noticed a film on it when I went to use it again. People making the switch from the George Foreman grills will probably not like the longer cooking times and I would suggest looking elsewhere. In a category of products that seem hit and miss I would classify this as a miss.
It cooks everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. So far, I've cooked sirloin steak, chicken breasts, pork chops, juicy Italian sausage, salmon burgers, hamburgers, and a whole variety of vegetables all on this grill...and they were cooked to perfection!
What I usually do is add water to the drip pan first; then I crank up the temperature to 425 degrees, wait for the grill to reach that setting, apply some vegetable oil spray, put the meat on, and voila....it's grill time, baby! Clean up is a real snap, too. I usually wait until the following morning to wash the grill and drip pan with a soapy sponge and warm water. That's really all you have to do. It's also helpful to clean the underside of the grill itself with Brillo or some other type of scouring pad.
Initially, I was concerned that the lack of a cover might cause too much smoke in the kitchen, setting off the alarms. This has not happened, though. The grill, with its perforations, has also been efficient in draining off fat as well as water from overly hydrated ground turkey. Unlike the Foreman cookers that I owned, this also has a very effective heat setting. The area available for grilling also seems more substantial than what I had on Foreman cookers in the same price range.
This grill is very easy to clean. I just put the grill and the drip pan into the dishwasher. Re-assembling the cooker takes a matter of seconds. The grill stores easily on top of my refrigerator.
This is deservedly a best seller. It has served me well for the past several years, and I expect it to continue for a number more, making this a genuine kitchen bargain.
