Just 1 alone is more than enough to run any game on high with my 1080p Monitor
I went from a NVIDIA GeForce 9750 GX2 which has 2 videocards built into one, and the ATI 4870 blows it away (keep in mind the different technologies at play).
I've owned this card for over a year and from the moment I received it I was amazed.
To start off it's big. It's not as big as the newest cards on the market but it is still a stunning card. You can read the dimensions for yourself and make sure that it fits into your case. Keep in mind to add a few centimeters for the 6-pin cables that power it.
Physical aspects aside, this is the most important part; the performance.
The card runs at around 43-60 degrees Celsius depending on the application you're running.
The videocard can handle any game on high settings.
Disney's Split-Second runs smoothly on high but can't handle very high.
Singularity plays smoothly on max settings.
All things considered this card is still a major contender even in today's market.
