I bought this card as a part of a budget build and so far it's been the best part of the whole computer. Previously I ran my games off of my integrated graphics and I was satisfied with the performance but when I had clocked the iGPU to its functional limits I knew I needed to get a real GPU. Now I can run TESV:Skyrim, Saints Row III, Tribes Ascend, and Tomb Raider (2013), most on max settings without dropping below or reaching 30 for a even a second. I knew Sapphire had almost clocked this card to the limit but I used AMD Overdrive to push it a tad further and the boost in performance was still significant. If the games I've listed aren't enough to sway you to making the purchase, consider this. This card can run Crysis 2 on "Hardcore" while still holding 40+ FPS. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the game. I actually purchased it just for benchmarking :P Anyway, it's a brilliant card and it's worth every penny...

Don't even get me started on how this thing runs Minecraft/Garry's Mod/Half-Life/Low end games, etc.

Here's the build I'm working with so interested buyers can compare it to their systems.

Windows 7 Ult. 64-bit
AMD A6-3500 OC'ed
4GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz (8-8-7-24)
Gigabyte A55M-DS2 FM1 Socket
AMD Radeon HD 7770 OC Edition w/ 1GB GDDR5 OC'ed
1.5TB of HDD

I did a fair amount of review before settling with this card. After a $15 rebate, it was $105. Granted I had an nVidia Quadro card before (inherited) that I was lucky I could play any games with; this card on the other hand has no problems running games the previous card would choke on. Warthunder with highest settings in 1900x1020 is 50fps. Dirt2 is butter smooth.

The card barely requires its own power - 80W is what it's rated to pull. Dual fans keep it nice and cool and it's quiet. I know a lot of the review #s show this card isn't the best, but I think for the price, you can't find better.

First off I am a console gamer, but i want to get into pc gaming a little..games that i want but i don't have to play on my console but play with a controller anyway.

I got this card to upgrade my two year old I5 HP system, which was not made to be a gaming machine. I also upgraded this card from a crummy Radeon HD6450. First off you will need a huge power supply for it, I got a SeaSonic personally but I digress.

The card went in easily more or less, this card is twice as thick as my previous card so of course I had no idea what to do, thankfully with the help of some friends, turns out there is a metal plate on the back of my tower made to be bent off to allow the card to sit in there fully. Granted I barely got it in there with how huge it is but I got it to work.

They only bench mark I have is playing the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot since it had in game bench mark (1920x1080, AVG FPS, AA sent on low, 2x buffer v-sync)
Normal: 59.1
High: 48.1
Ultra: 36.4
Ultimate(With TR super detailed hair on): 19.1

So you can see the card does great until the new crazy hair thingy. Like I said I am not a hardcore pc gamer, but for what I want this card does the job. Also happy it came factory OCed since I didn't want to try that my self and screw things up.

Pros: Great budget video card that can play all the latest games at respectable settings. Overclocks like a champ and has a very respectable cooling solution for a card at the budget end of the spectrum. AMD Drivers have come a long way in the last two years, haven't had nearly as many problems as I remember in the past.

Cons: It doesn't make sandwiches.

Other thoughts: Keep in mind you're paying more than other 7770Ghz edition cards here because of the better cooling solution and the factory overclock. You can get the same performance from any card with the same model, just might run hotter.

I was surprisingly impressed with this GPU. I only spent 110 on it at the time and still it works well. Runs most games on high at 50 FPS+. My only issue is the memory, only having one gig slows me down. The processor itself almost never reaches full capacity and memory is maxed out almost all the time. Overall good performance for the price.

Of course this isn't the best graphics card out there, but if you're an enthusiast/builder on a budget, yet want to push the limits of your budget, then this card is for you. Yes, this card is fairly large, though it should fit in most standard cases. The Vapor-x system keeps my card quite cool even during maximum load.
