Sarah Rubin split her childhood between Philadelphia and an island off the coast of Maine. She spent most of her early years in costume, directing her younger siblings in lavish living room productions. After stealing the show as The Littlest Christmas Tree in The Snow Queen Ballet, Sarah hung up her dancing shoes in pursuit her one true love: writing.
Sarah earned her BA in Creative Writing and History from Skidmore College in New York. After teaching dance and drama for a year, Sarah moved to England where she received an MA in Writing for Children from the University of Winchester. Sarah currently lives in England with her husband and two children.
