About Sarfraz Zaidi MD
Sarfraz Zaidi, MD, FACE, FACP
Sarfraz Zaidi, MD was born and raised in Pakistan in a lower middle-class family. He was gifted with great learning skills, which helped him to achieve outstanding academic success. At the age of 25, he graduated as a medical doctor from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan – the oldest and the most prestigious medical school in Pakistan.
After completing his post-graduate internship in Medicine and Surgery at Mayo hospital in Pakistan, Dr. Zaidi landed in Zimbabwe as a humanitarian physician as there was severe shortage of doctors created by the exodus of local physicians after the independence of Rhodesia.
In Zimbabwe, Dr. Zaidi worked in the department of Pediatrics. “Most of the children suffered from the consequences of malnutrition to the point that even vaccines did not work,” he recalled. Dr. Zaidi embraced the local culture and learned a great deal about “traditional healers” in Africa.
Later, Dr. Zaidi arrived in the US and completed his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University Hospitals in Detroit, Michigan. Afterwards, he served in a doctor-shortage area in the Florida panhandle. “I was living at place that we jokingly called LA – Lower Alabama. I was welcomed by the local community like a member of their own family. The older ladies used to bring me their favorite cakes when they came for an office visit. It was so heart felt.”
The quest for more learning took Dr. Zaidi across the US to Los Angeles where he received his fellowship training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at UCLA hospitals. Later, he joined the faculty at UCLA as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. At that time, he also opened the Jamila Diabetes and Endocrine Medical Center in Southern California. Jamila was his beloved mother’s maiden name. She had tremendous influence in shaping Dr. Zaidi’s personality.
Despite all his success, Dr. Zaidi was troubled with what he called “unscientific robotic medicine.” Using the sword of logic, he started to question the “traditional medical treatments of diabetes, thyroid, obesity, vitamin D deficiency…”. And he came up with some breakthrough discoveries.
Then came 9/11. “I couldn’t believe how the entire world became so fearful, angry and hateful.” Dr. Zaidi was utterly perplexed. He decided to use logic and diagnose the root cause of humans’ emotional sufferings. And one day he discovered it while walking in his neighborhood park. Over the next few weeks, wisdom flowed through him non-stop. He wrote it down and later published it in the form of books.
Dr. Zaidi has developed his unique holistic approach, called SNEVM – Stress management, Nutrition, Exercise-rest, Vitamins and Medications when necessary. By employing this comprehensive strategy, he saw some amazing results in his patients which he discusses in his books. He also frequently writes blogs at his website, DoctorZaidi.com

The medical treatment of Graves' disease has not changed in over 50 years. Sad, but true!
The standard, usual treatment with Radioactive iodine is a superficial, myopic approach. It almost always makes you hypothyroid (underactive thyroid state). Then, you need to be on thyroid pills for the rest of your life. In addition, radioactive iodine does not treat the underlying root cause of Graves' disease - autoimmune dysfunction, which continues to smolder and easily erupts into another autoimmune disease.
Anti-thyroid drugs do not treat autoimmune dysfunction either. They provide only temporary relief. Often, symptoms return once you stop these drugs.
Surgery also does not treat autoimmune dysfunction. It often leads to hypothyroidism as well as many other complications.
Over the last ten years, Dr. Zaidi developed a truly breakthrough approach to get rid of Graves' disease at its roots - autoimmune dysfunction. His patients have benefited tremendously from this approach. Now, its time for you to learn about this ground breaking discovery.
Dr. Zaidi reveals what really causes autoimmune dysfunction that ultimately leads to Graves' disease. His revolutionary treatment strategy consists of five components: His unique Diet for Graves' disease (including original recipes), the link between Vitamin D deficiency and Graves' disease, the connection between Graves' disease and Vitamin B12 deficiency, how Stress causes Graves' disease (and Dr. Zaidi's unique strategy to manage stress) and the Judicious use of Anti-Thyroid drugs.
Dr. Zaidi also explains: What are thyroid antibodies? What are the tests to diagnose various causes of hyperthyroidism? What causes Graves' eye disease and what is its proper treatment? How do you accurately diagnose and manage Graves' disease during pregnancy?
This original, profound and breakthrough approach is completely different from the usual, customary approaches to manage stress, which simply work as a band-aid, while the volcano underneath continues to smolder. Sooner or later, it erupts through the paper thin layers of these superficial strategies.
Dr. Zaidi's approach is based on his personal awakening which happened instantaneously one day as he walked in his neighborhood park. Since then he lives in the peaceful bliss of the Real Now, free of the stress of daily living. He has dedicated his life to help others live a stress-free life. In this respect, he gives free talks in the community, do one-on-one counseling and has published YouTube videos.
Dr. Zaidi guides you step by step on how you can be free of various forms of stress. From peer pressure, to stress from education, to conflict between teenagers, parents and teachers, to anxiety, addictions and ADD, Dr. Zaidi covers every aspect of stress teenagers, parents and teachers experience in their day to day life.
Dr. Zaidi's new approach ushers in a new era in psychology, yet this book is such an easy read. It's like talking to a close friend for practical, useful yet honest advice that works.
Sometimes, you may be placed on a tiny dose of T3 and then told that it did not make any difference. In "Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis", Dr. Zaidi elaborates what is the correct ratio of T3 and T4 to treat hypothyroidism.
Even worse, patients are told "there is no treatment for Hashimoto's Thyroiditis", the root cause of hypothyroidism in a large number of patients. Consequently, patients continue to suffer from this autoimmune disorder. They are also at high risk of developing other types of autoimmune disorders, but physicians typically don't know how to cure an autoimmune dysfunction, sad but true. They wait till the disease has progressed to causing symptoms. Then, they can prescribe a drug, usually loaded with side-effects.
This approach to autoimmune disorders is very superficial and unscientific.
Dr. Sarfraz Zaidi, MD, a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA, and a leading endocrinologist in U.S.A., has made a breakthrough discovery about the real cause of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and how to effectively cure it. He has also made new insights into the causes of Hypothyroidism. Based on these ground-breaking discoveries, he has developed a revolutionary approach to treat Hypothyroidism and cure Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
In "Hypothyroidism And Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, A Breakthrough Approach to Effective Treatment," you will find out.
• Why you continue to suffer from symptoms of Hypothyroidism, despite taking thyroid pills?
• What really is Hypothyroidism?
• What are the symptoms of Hypothyroidism?
• Why the diagnosis of Hypothyroidism is often missed?
• Why the current treatment approach of hypothyroidism is unscientific?
• Why the usual tests for thyroid function are inaccurate and misleading?
• What actually causes Hypothyroidism?
• What is the root cause of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, besides genetics?
• What other conditions are commonly associated with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?
• How to effectively treat Hypothyroidism?
• How to cure Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?
• And a detailed thyroid diet that works.
Dr. Zaidi has included actual case studies from his clinical practice to show how he treats his patients effectively with a proper T3 and T4 combination, and how he has repeatedly cured Hashimoto's thyroidits in his patients.
Most people would answer, "No, but I'm working on it." They think their stress is due to a certain person, work situation, monetary issue, health condition, etc.
In "Stress Cure Now," Dr. Zaidi clearly shows how the root cause of stress resides inside you, not out there. “You confuse stressors with the cause of stress. You keep chasing the stressors while the root cause continues to thrive inside you,” Dr. Zaidi explains. “As the root cause of stress lies inside you, so does the solution, right? Only when you know the root cause of stress, you can be free of it.”
Dr. Zaidi's strategy to cure stress is based on his personal awakening, in-depth medical knowledge, and vast clinical experience. It is truly a New approach to be stress-free in this stressed-out world. His approach is simple, direct, original, and therefore, profound. He uses logic - the common sense that every human is born with – to dissect out the layers of deception - what he calls The Acquired Self. Once free of the Acquired Self, you rediscover your True Self – the fountain of everlasting inner peace.
In “Stress Cure Now”, you will learn:
• How Stress plays a role in all your illnesses
• What is the Mind-Body connection?
• What is the basis of your Busy Mind?
• What is the real root cause of stress and how to be free of it?
"Wake Up While You Can" guides us to liberate our soul of the emotional burden from this life-span as well as previous life-spans. “Then, you are stress free in this life and in life after death,” Dr. Zaidi points out. He goes on to explain what hell and heaven really is, what “real God” is and what “real God” is not, what “real soul” is and what “real soul” is not. He describes the difference between “real life after death versus conceptual life after death.”
Wake Up While You Can includes actual experiences by people of diverse backgrounds about life after death. This book provides a compelling logical insight into life after death. At the same time, it provides real answers to real questions about how one can be stress free in this life and in life after death.
Dr. Sarfraz Zaidi, MD is an enlightened human being. At the height of his successful medical career, he realized he was missing inner peace. He went on a soul-searching journey to figure out who he is, in reality, which ultimately led to his “awakening.” Since then, he is a transformed human. He lives in the real Now and he has experienced real GOD. He does not belong to any religious organization and has no mission. In this book, he simply shares with readers his insight into spiritual life - now and after death.
Dr. Sarfraz Zaidi realized he was missing
inner peace-despite a loving family, spacious house,
pets, expensive car....
One day, while pondering on “ Who I am, in real,”
he woke up from his deep psychological sleep.
Since his awakening, he enjoys an immense inner peace.
He lives in the bliss of the “Real Now.”
Every now and then, some pearls of wisdom come up,
which he expresses as quotes, paraphrases and poems.
Here is a compilation of his poems since his awakening.
