This book has chapters about each of the hot Storm guys and the women they love. The sex is pretty steamy. A very enjoyable read that picks up for each Storm guy where their story left off. J has always been my favorite but Scott is pretty special in a different way to me now. He's a stand by your woman man through good and bad times. One thing can be said for all the Storm guys.....they love their women deeply. Nina is a wonderful storyteller and her words convey those feelings to us readers. Thanks Nina for another amazing book.

Love seeing the Storm men and women again. Nina takes you on a little adventure into the lives of the hot sexy couples from her Storm MC series. You see J and Madsion still arguing about babies. J is still one hot man inside and outside the bedroom. I'd give him as many babies as he wanted. Scott and Harlow are struggling with their loss. Can they finally heal eachother? Dirty talking Nash still keeps things to himself and Velvet wants more. Can he give her what she needs? Blade and Layla are still off the charts hot together but he's still struggling with his guilt. Can these amazing group of people heal and continue with their HEA's? Nina Levine gives the readers plenty of steam, love, heartache, and wanting more in the novella.

Sassy Christmas (Storm MC #5.5)
By: Nina Levine
4/5 stars

The last year has been exceptionally difficult for the members of the Storm MC and their loved ones, but especially so for the men. The men have been on high alert because of a drug dealer and tensions because of the previous President, Scott, Madison & Blade’s dad, who eventually got himself killed because of the shady underhanded deals he was trying to work. This in turn left them with a new set of problems. The men haven’t had a break or been able to relax and have been waiting on edge for the other shoe to drop.

The women, led by Madison, have decided to throw a Christmas party where the men can try to relax and enjoy the company for the holiday, at least for one night. But this party is also to actually provide a reprieve for the couples who are also having personal problems. And it seems like something is happening to at least half the couples. Jay is ready to start a family & Madison isn’t; Harlow is still shutting out Scott & mourning her miscarriage; and Velvet wants kids, but doesn’t know if Nash is willing to have any more kids after the death of his son.

The one problem I had was that it had been so long since I read Slay (on its release day), that I forgot what had happened during that book…even the main points. So I was just a little behind while reading this, but it was a good catch-up in anticipation of Illusive.

Series Reading Order:

Book 3 - Blaze
Book 4 - Revive
Book 5 - Slay
Storm MC Novella - Sassy Christmas
Book 6 - Illusive (Coming 25th August 2015)
Book 7 - Command (Coming 20th October 2015)

Sassy Christmas did nothing to assuage my hunger for more of the Storm MC men. If anything, Nina Levine stroked the embers that had been burning since the end of Slay, igniting a fire that is desperate to consume the next full-length novel in the Storm MC series. I absolutely loved every second of this novella, reveling in the small glimpses of each couple we were gifted. Their usual antics made me grin and I found myself effortlessly falling back into the Storm MC world. Even in this short span of time, Nina Levine managed to evoke some serious emotion with the struggles each couple was facing. Sassy Christmas only slightly hinted at the ongoing storyline of the club, focusing instead on the relationships that have made this series so vibrant. I can never get enough of Nina’s delicious alphas and badass females, loving the constant push and pull between the couples and the rollercoaster of emotion that is their journey.

Each Storm couple has such a unique dynamic and Nina Levine has done an amazing job at making sure that comes through as the POV of this story shifts. Every character has a voice that feels inexplicably theirs, giving this story the depth and dimensionality that makes this series so addictive. I love seeing the intense passion between Blade and Layla and am always amused by the battle of wills that is the equally stubborn Madison and J. I’m continually blow away by the emotional intensity of Scott and Harlow and completely consumed by Nash and Velvet’s desperation to heal. Sassy Christmas felt like a new beginning of sorts. Settled in their relationships, the characters move forward in a new way, facing the ups and downs of life that await each of their relationships. I can’t wait to see where Nina Levine will take these couples and I’m incredibly anxious to find out how the Storm MC will confront the issues standing in their way. Sassy Christmas was a quick, fun, sexy addition to the Storm MC series and it has me ready for more Storm!!

Nina Levine takes us back into the world of The Storm MC but what we see is happy times during the Christmas Holidays. With everything still tense in the MC Madison decides it's time for some fun and downtime for the guys and that is where all the Storm woman step up for their men.
We see where some of the relationships stand and we see how very emotional and heartbreaking some are and how heartwarming all these Alpha men can be towards their woman.
If you love the Storm MC Men you will equally feel the same about all the woman in their lives and how they love them just as fierce as they love them.
