I ued something similar to this with my children when they were babies. Couldn't find them in stores any where. Found them only online. They are perfect. I ordered 8 - 2 for my daughter's first baby, 2 for another daughter who's expecting, 2 for the other grandparents, 2 for myself.

It makes feeding baby so much easier. Babies are familiar and comfortable with using a bottle so this is a natural for their next step (cereal, first strained baby foods, etc.). You save money because the baby gets more food in their tummy vs. on their bib and clothes, you and everything around them. If the baby is very hungry, they'll "eat" quickly enough to satisfy them and quickly fill their hungry tummy. Making them and you very happy.

You can use these baby feeders and still use a spoon at times. These feeders are incredibly useful when traveling or visiting someone else. When visitng other people's home, they appreciate how tidy it is feeding the baby.

Love them.

I used a feeder like this in 1985 and it was a MUST HAVE item then and now. Spoon feeding at an early stage is way too messy. The idea is to feed at the babies pace, with little or no mess, and no air introduced to their stomachs for digestion proplems. This product meets these standards. One slow-up though... the strainer inside plugs up sometimes with thicker foods. (Great for Rice Cereal). My grand daughter is 7-months old.

These bottles are awesome for days when you are in a rush rush rush. I bought these for my son (now 23 months) back when he was starting on solids around the age of 6 or 7 months. When I was in a hurry, he could eat without me having to spoon feed him. We used these for a good 2 months or so probably 5-6 times a week and they were life savers!
To use, you simply spoon the food into the nurser, then GENTLY (as in SLOWLY) push the bottom disc up until the food fills the nipple. If you just jam it up, it's going to make a mess (as I did one time and learned from). Our daughter is six months old now and I came back to order these AGAIN to use with her. We've had them 2 weeks and used them a few times with no issues whatsoever. They are an incredible time saver. I even bought a set for my girlfriend to use with her baby several months back and she thought they were incredibly handy especially on evenings when she was rushing one kid to football another to cheer and life was too chaotic to sit down and spoon feed her daughter.
I do want to say after reading some of these reviews that I would not use these as the ONLY way to feed you baby and also that my experience has been that using these does not "delay" the baby in any way from learning fine motor skills as I had read previously.

My grandson was having so much trouble eating. He is 13 months old but will not eat table food. Every time we try to feed him table food, he gags. He was starting to not want to eat baby food either so I thought we would try the Sassy Bottle Feeders. They worked like a charm. He would eat with these when he would not eat from a spoon.
Now after about a month, he has begun to eat from a spoon.

I bought these for my granddaughter when she had her son. I had used some almost like them with my son (her dad). I used them a lot for him but I don't think she used them that often. She didn't have that much trouble feeding her son...but mine used to knock the spoon out of my hand and spill his food.I mixed applesauce and oatmeal into the feeder and he ate a lot more food. And it's very handy on trips or at movie theaters etc. I guess it just depends on the person...what they like to use with their babies. ( I also bought her some cloth diapers ..even though she uses Pampers. There are lots of things you can use cloth diapers for.) Guess I'm just old fashioned. I would still recommend the infa feeders to new moms. I'm glad they still make them. (I had to order online because they don't seem to be sold in stores anymore.)

Bought these for my 4 month old to start her on solids while keeping her fed with the familiarity of the bottle. Unfortunately I used once because after a second wash they seem to be distorted. I would recommend buying these but only washing by hand!

This product works very well in allowing a child who can hold its own bottle the ability to feed himself some strained fruits, rice cereal, or custers without the additional help of an adult or older sibling, however this process also can cause the child to become lazy and thus taking him/her longer to learn to eat such foods from a spoon. But if you are on a long car ride and its time for your child to have his strained fruits, its the best product on the market for this purpose.

I ordered these for my 2-month-old, as he has reflux and has to have cereal mixed with his formula. I really liked them at first, even though they were quite messy and leaked a bit. I've had them for a couple weeks and decided to sanitize them, along with his other bottles. I don't have a dishwasher so I boil the bottles to sanitize them, and sadly, these did not survive. They warped badly and I had to throw them away. I'm not sure if they would hold up better in a dishwasher but I do not recommend boiling them!
