The stand arrived in the original packaging, not inside another box which was surprising, but I could not see any outward damage to the box and the stand was not damaged in any way. The pictures show the stand and the various views as I put it together. The directions are printed on the bottom of the box.
The only issue I had was putting the aluminum legs on the stand. Installing the leg required me to push a little harder on the legs and monitor to get them to go into the folding mounting brackets. You have to put the aluminum legs on because the mounting brackets would fold up if the extensions are no used, however if you want the monitor stand height lower, then you would leave the brackets for the legs folded and inset the aluminum parts into the base of the stand rather than the extensions. The bottom of the stand is 3.25 inches from the desktop, and the surface is 4.1 inches from the desktop. I am not sure what the stand height would be if the aluminum legs were inserted into the base of the stand rather that the folding leg extensions.
The monitor also included connections for mic and headphones as well as 4 additional USB ports. The ports are USB 2.0 (would liked to have 3.0) but that is fine since I plan to use the USB ports on the stand for things like attaching cameras or micro-drives. The extra speed isn't really required.
The wire for the front USB ports runs from a depression underneath the stop surface. It includes the USB connection wire which is hard mounted and a set of connectors for the mic and headphones. These can be routed through a slot that keeps the wires out of the way and makes for a clean looking installation.
So far I am very satisfied with the way the stand works and the space I recover from being able to fit my mini and DVD drive under the stand itself. I also have a couple of docking stations for a few hard drives I use for other thing and if I were to get another in the future, I would get a horizontal docking station that I could also fit under the stand.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the stand as well as how it looks. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a similar stand. If anything changes down the line, I will amend this evaluation but so far it meets all my requirements.

I want to put this foremost of the review that the people that make this product seem to be honestly interested with your satisfaction, and I rarely do see that now a days, as soon as my order arrived I received and e-mail helping me understand how to set it up and how things work and if you need assistance, then please feel free to contact them. This blew me away that they go the extra mile so suffice to say I am impressed and pleased with the customer service.
The review itself now; I've had this a couple of days now and I am really digging it. It sits my monitor at eye level and fits perfectly on the stand, my monitor is 22" and there is still enough room on each side that it fits perfectly and not hanging over. The USB ports are a nice bonus if you want to charge a phone or a tablet, hand held game console - perfect use here. Not only can you power it through your PC but acts like it is part of your PC so if you need to backup or sync iPhone/iPad.. it'll connect to your iTunes so you don't always have to use the PC directly. Haven't used the microphone and headphone ports and don't really expect to be using them at all but it is nice to have. It is sturdy, seems nicely made - the rubber stoppers you can add to the bottom of the stands work properly and keep it from sliding, if you place them on correctly they won't rock or wobble. And it also opens up a bit more space on my desk so I can slide or store some things underneath it, like the keyboard for example if I need to use the desk for something else for a bit.
Overall I am thrilled with my purchase and recommend this product to anyone in the monitor stand market.
