I bought a $1200 72v 50Ah battery pack for a Zap Zapino and the included charger let the smoke out about 2-3 minutes into it's first charge. Looked like it cost about $2 to build. Decided that I have three very expensive battery packs and I'd like to make them last as long as possible, so ordered up the Satiator after a bunch of research. I installed an XLR port on my bike in place of the computer power plug and it works great. Also ordered up the XLR to XT60 adapter but for Lunacycle brand batteries it is the wrong half of the plug, so you may have to modify or put and adapter on the adapter. I did not order up the programming cable that can be used in conjunction with any of the other adapters as every charge program I might need is already in the charger and I've activated three of them.
UPDATE: So far really happy with the tech this supplies. Only mildly concerning thing is that it is a sealed system and the entire unit gets hot while charging. Almost hot enough to burn you, but not quite... 60 degrees C or about 140F. I wouldn't try holding it for more than a few seconds while charging nor do I advise leaving it on something with a low melt point. I was concerned it might damage the vinyl seat cover on my scooter, but just made it warm.
