I will begin by saying I have plantar fasciitis, bunions, and a plantar's wart under the skin on bottom of foot. I have bought and returned 3 pairs of shoes recently but when I received these and tried them on I actually kept them on ALL day. I have never tried on a more comfortable shoe. The box is wide enough and the arch support is great. They are the lightest shoes I have ever worn. These are great for running, walking, and Jazzercise. Honestly, I couldn't wait to write the review because I wanted to spread the word about these great Saucony shoes. It has been difficult finding the right shoe because I am picky but I will stick with these from now on because they are awesome.

I took a chance buying these sneakers, as one always does with shoes online, but I am SO HAPPY I did. I take brisk walks along neighborhood streets for excerise and I have difficult feet. I need PLENTY of room in the toe box otherwise I get blisters where hammer toes and toes bent under rub together. Also, my feet are very bony with little fat cushioning so I was even more hesitant about these because they are so lightweight. I have worn Saucony for some years but they were standard weight sneakers with lots of cushion. I really, really love these light shoes! When I took them out of the box they weighed just nothing. A feather. I thought that maybe my bony, tender feet couldn't take walking on pavement with so little padding, but not the case. My feet love these shoes. I feel like I'm floating and no blisters or discomfort of any kind. I'm going to buy more pairs so that I will be sure to have them for years.

I ordered these in an attempt to see how they compared to the Kinvara, hoping to like them more. I still love the Kinvara too much! These work, and I'm doing all my runs in them. I have higher arches and they don't quite fit my foot as well as the Kinvaras do, a little too much wiggle room. The tendons in my feet get a bit sore when I run in these and I have to wonder if its from that.

As with any running shoe, just because it doesn't work for my foot, doesn't mean it won't work for everyone! The fact that I'm still doing 15-mile runs in them says a lot, really. It's a great shoe, but I just prefer Kinvara still. :)

I liked these shoes from the minute I took them out of the box; lightweight and cute!
I'm on my feet (standing) for at least 8-10 hours per shift, and I haven't experienced hip or knee pain while wearing these shoes.

I spent most of my decade of off and on again running/jogging in cheap shoes from Payless that did the job but probably didn't make running anymore comfortable. I started buying better running shoes in the last couple of years. I had great luck with the Saucony Cohesion for my generalized indoor workouts, so I thought I'd try the Virrata. However, for the first time ever, I have had to fight blisters on the inside of my left heel. I have to wear a band-aid there in addition to wearing athletic socks, and I still get the blistering sometimes. I never go farther than a few miles either.
I have also noticed that all of my socks keep getting a pink tint on the bottoms, which comes from the bright red insole of this shoe.
I won't be buying this model again.

I love these shoes. You will notice some extra calf work the first few times you take them on a long run (the next day) as they have a bit of a raise right behind the toes. Im not sure if it has improved my stride but I love how light they are. The only small issue I am having is that the past three runs in these the tongue/shoelaces have cut into the top of my left foot...bizarre I know. It leaves the top of my foot feeling bruised for a few days afterwards. I feel maybe a little more padding in the tongue might help.
Anyhow, these shoes ran five half marathons+ long training runs this summer and held up great.

I am a 6.5 sometimes 7. I bought a 6.5 in these and the fit is perfect! I ran 30 minutes on the treadmill first time out and they were super comfy!

Super light weight. Problem is that there is no heel-toe drop, which resulted in my developing Achilles tendinitis soon after switching to these shoes from my reliable older New Balance shoes. I stopped wearing these Saucony's at first after my injury then gradually worked them back into my routine as I began to recover, but added heel inserts. Months later, after my Achilles was fully healed and sufficiently stretched, I was able to return to using these shoes without inserts and they are now fine.

I also have a pair of Scott running shoes. These Saucony's are noticeably lighter and much more flexible. I find them very comfortable. The trade-off is that I don't think the soles will last nearly as many miles. So far, the mesh uppers are holding up fine but the red markings on the sides started coming off on both shoes when the shoes were not very old. That's just cosmetic, though. I like these enough that I will probably keep running in them until they fully wear out.
