Wow! This book was crazy. The emotional rollercoaster with this book had my stomach in knots and in tears. My heart broke for Cecilia. I wanted to wrap her up in a hug. But I love Gabriel's character. Such a fierce protector. But what happens when Cecilia can't overcome the fear? These two amazing characters tugged at my heart and I'm rooting for them. I cannot wait to read what happens next.

I started this book thinking it was a standalone, but it ended on a cliffhanger. Gabriel and Cecilia’s story is one that really pulled at my emotions. They have both been through their own trauma, but when Gabriel finds Cecelia, he knows that he must do something to save her from herself. This book is about not only enduring trauma, but fighting to overcome everything thrown at you and learning to open up to others. I cannot explain how much I love this book and the story that is developing.

My first glimpse of this story is through an anthology where it lives as a six chapter story. It is a great short story, and this is a great well thought out, longer version. Like the Sun Valley this story has a connection to Allie. Her friends, Alex, Julio and Felix do everything in their power to find the truth and help a friend. Daniela has written a heart wrenching story of girl caught in a bad situation with no hope in sight. The story is complex with a villain who is manipulative and evil. There are lines drawn and decisions to be made. Still, I won't give away any spoilers. It ends on a cliffhanger. Let's hope all ends well for Cecelia and Alex. Enjoy.

After falling in love with the Devil's of Sun Valley High series, I couldn't wait to see what the author would come up with with spin offs and so far she's onto a winner. You have to heed the warning at the start if you have triggers because it gets intense and quick, but I just want Gabriel and Cecelia to have all the happiness in the world.
