Will Save and Feral find that gold up in those mountains? Too many questions left unanswered. Imma need a reunion book. I love Milly.
In this book we meet Sage, sister of Zuri from Savage Bite, & Feral a tiger shifter & leader of his pride. Sage is on a not so welcome hike when she comes across a very young shifter out in the woods on her own. When Sage finds out the girl can't find her way back to her uncle's camp, she decides to take her into town so she can contact this uncle. She never expected to be kidnapped for her trouble.
Feral is sure his niece has been kidnapped by some human & he's determined to get her back as well as make the human pay. Then he finds that not only was Sage trying to help his niece, but she's his mate, too. Now how is he gonna convince her to give him a chance?
Like the first book, Savage Bite, this is a fun, quick read that I had a hard time putting down. The characters are a little older then the norm for a romance book, but that's part of the attraction for me, seeing as I'm passed middle age myself. The hero & heroine are both mature, strong characters with likable personalities. The supporting cast is perfect, with loyal family & friends as well as wonderfully nasty bad guys. All in all this story was great for a fun evening's read.
I voluntarily read & reviewed this advanced reader's copy.
