This is not your traditional horror flick and thus may not be everyone's cup of tea. I liked if a lot because I happen to also be into film photography. I thought it was very well done. The only thing I wanted was more details of the ending and what happens next.
AMAZING! The production and assembly of this film will keep you completely engaged for the entire piece. If you remotely fear the monster under your bed, then this film is for your you. Wonderful project.
Savageland makes for an engaging horror story told at a slow burn. You'll "shutter" in fright as the story unfolds through a series of progressively more disturbing photos. The acting is a little flat in places, but a minor flaw overall.
This comes across to me as less of a zombie flick and more an entry into the modern weird horror genre, like if Laird Barron had written a screenplay. Check it out!
I rarely right reviews on movies, but this one was done quiet well. In documentary style with actors that are truly believable in their roles. The story is well written with and the graphics and special effects and excellent for this type of low budget movie. If you have the time, this movie will make you think this actually occurred in Arizona. Well worth your time.
