Every book in this series gets better and better. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a thrilling ride!
My brain is still processing everything I read, and my heart and body are trying to get over this book. Wow, Siobhan blew me away again. I am head over heels in love with these characters, and my heart bleeds over the loses.
The bombshells she drops on Sadie, Logan and Axton are enough to knock anyone off their feet, just when I think I know where it's going, I get blown away too.
Was very happy with myself however for recognizing who G really was! My theory from book one was correct, along with others I'm sure, but I'll still pat myself on the back for that one. :)
I need the next one....now. I'll be here waiting, desperately...
Sadie and Logan have an insane connection through their Eterno bond, and the way Siobhan has written their thoughts and actions and everything in between just makes your heart yearn for more of their kind of love. They both care deeply for each other, but they are also the kind of people you want on your side as your friend. Because their friends? They do anything for them.
I got a little fed up along the way with Haydn. He needed a swift talking to get his act together. I understand his hesitation in trusting Sadie again, but sheesh, cut the girl some slack. While it did drive me crazy, I do feel like it was an important part of the story and their relationship, so I wouldn't want it written any other way.
I had suspicions and doubts about Axton throughout this novel that continually kept growing. Namely the fact that (despite he was married to her in a "former life") he never backed off! It didn't matter what she said or did or tried to spell out for him, in an ever-so-kind manner...he just wouldn't leave.it.alone! Suffice it to say that I hate reading spoilers, so I'm not going to spoil the ending for you. But I didn't leave with any FEWER doubts by the end of the novel. Nice cliff hanger, Ms. Davis!
Sadie's friends were supportive and honest with her. They are the kind you want by your side every step of the way. Fern, Rylan, Izzy, Neve and Alex. Love all the bunch of them. My heart broke after the turn of events near the end of the novel. For Neve, for Alex, for their future together. What is done is done, and it fuels my hatred towards Dante even more. That guy is seriously out of touch and completely off the deep end! As is Griselda. Very curious, and also dreading, what each of them has in store for the future.
I realize I could write about this novel all day long, and yet because I don't want to leave spoilers, won't end up telling readers much at the end of the day. So my bottom line is this: READ IT! Get the series, start at the beginning, and keep going. This is one series where I have read for hours, non-stop, and can't wait to get to the next page, next chapter, next book. It leaves me dangling on the cliff at the end of each novel, and when the next begins, I pick up effortlessly where we left off and remember all the details I need. Siobhan has such an art for dropping you right back into the story and never disappoints.
Romance: kissing, mild sensual moments, one closed-door/fade-to-black scene
Language: some language, but spread in bits throughout the book and easy to read over
**Disclaimer: I have received this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.**
This series is getting more and more layered and complex with action, adventure, betrayal, redemption, fulfillment and loss. It's overwhelming, but in a (very) good way.
Siobhan Davis is particularly good at action filled plots and growth of (by now in many cases already well developed) characters. It's great to read how they interact with the well-crafted universe the author created as well as the various equally well done supporting characters. I particularly like reading how the characters Sadie, Logan and Axton are developing in this book (but I won't cheat - no spoilers here).
I highly recommend this book and the series itself, despite the too often cliffhangers it has (of which, be warned), but note you really do need to start at book 1 with this series and, even though it doesn't appear in kindle's list of series books, you do need to read Saven Denial, technically book 2.5, as it provides some essential info.
This book if read as part of the series in order: 4 stars. Otherwise 3 stars as stand alone, which it's really not meant to be. Recommended? Definitely (easily for those who have read the prior books).
I can recommend this as a 'must read' for anyone who likes edge of the seat suspensful Scence Fiction/Fantasy and doesn't mind having to wait for the next book!
I received a complementary copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased and honest review.

OK this installment took me a longer time to read because of all the emotional turmoil...Read more
That is such a shame because the writing is good.
But now Axe and Izzy are with her. Dante then captures them!
