From the Author
I love writing romantic suspense with a tight focus on the hero and heroine. While I enjoy thrillers with a touch of romance, I really, really love when the romance is more central. Before I began writing, I cut my teeth on the likes of Anne Stuart, Linda Howard, and Tami Hoag. I thrilled to the power of the romance as much as the danger. As a writer, that's the kind of story I strive to deliver.

What was happening to her and why couldn't she remember one thing on that terrible night? Told to be patient with her
Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2016Verified Purchase
An entertaining romantic/suspense by bestselling author Nora Wilson, that once you start reading, it will be impossible to put down!.............Believing that his wife left him for another man detective Ray "Razor" Morgan, was more than shocked when he was told that his wife Grace, was in a car accident. After getting drunk and passing out, the alarming news quickly sobered him up, replacing sheer terror with total disdain. How could she do it? Leave me for another man? As she slowly came to in the hospital, reporter Grace Morgan remembered everything but that horrid night. Why? What was happening to her and why couldn't she remember one thing on that terrible night? Told to be patient with her, Ray was determined to take care of her but as much as he tried, his anger took over, causing him to be hostile and distant towards his gorgeous wife. Where was loverboy now? Grace never felt more hurt in her life and she had no idea why Ray was being so mean to her, but she was also stubborn and being a great reporter, she was determined to find out why. When Ray is almost killed in his truck, he doesn't give it much thought but when a suitcase filled with money suddenly appears in Grace's car, he realizes two things. It's either someone who hates him on the force or its his enemies he's made along the way. Isn't it? But soon, all that changes when a streak of bullets almost kills Grace, forcing him into full cop mode. This is about Grace? With his deep need to protect her, they change their appearences, stay in seedy motels, run for their lives while trying to unravel the mystery that forced them to run in the first place. But not even Ray or Grace will be ready for one more shocking revelation either one of them were prepared to discover. Will love find a way for Ray and Grace?...............This book was very enjoyable......thank you.....♡♡

a suspenseful romance with plenty of turns and adventure to keep you reading to the last page

“Saving Grace” by Norah Wilson, serve and protect #1, is a suspenseful romance involving a wife who has no memory of leaving her husband for another man and a cop determined to take care of the woman he married, even if protecting her costs him dearly.
Grace can’t remember the origin of thousands found in her possession due to the concussion suffered in the wreck that occurred while she was fleeing town.
Ray is contacted because he’s legally her family. Despite the situation, he goes to her and tries to be helpful. He loves his wife, but can’t get past her admission she was leaving for another man. She can’t remember anything that’s happened the last few months and years, but practically makes herself sick trying.
Then, his coworkers start asking about the duffel bag full of bills found in her vehicle. Then, it appears Grace’s car has been tampered with. When Rays goes to meet with a buddy on the force, things get even worse. Someone shoots at him and the other guy speeds away, likely thinking he set him up.
They go on the run until things calm down and they figure out what’s going on. But, that doesn’t keep things from bottoming out. They see on the news that their house has been blown up too.
The pair work together to stay alive while dodging whoever is after them, only Grace’s memory issues prevents her from being much help in putting things together.
And, the danger and adrenaline draw them ever closer. Ray still has feelings for her and is attracted, but she was leaving him for another man. She doesn’t remember anyone else and still feels love and desire for her hubby. They deal with that as well as the perilous situation, which gets even stickier when she finds out she’s pregnant and base on Ray’s account of her recent activities, has no idea who the father might be — but she can’t imagine welcoming any other man into bed except Ray.
Eventually, things come to a head. Grace starts remembering and they follow the clues to the culprit, but that doesn’t mean they’re out of danger yet. They’ve still got to catch the idiot and clear themselves.
I enjoyed the development between Grace and Ray. It was interesting to see them fall for each other all over again, figure out what’s important and how to move forward.

Ray Morgan is a tough Canadian cop married to Grace. He's not feeling good right now. A run of bad luck will do that to you.
When your wife walks out on you with no warning telling you she's in love with another man and is going to him, when she rolls her car going out of town to her new life, winds up in the hospital with amnesia and has no idea who she was running to or why, finds $10,000 in cash she has no knowledge of in her suitcase that puts Internal Affairs onto Ray, when people he doesn't know keep trying to kill him, you could be forgiven for being in a bad mood.
But bad as that may be, it's a walk in the park compared to having to run with Grace from the bad guys and the good guys when having to stay in the same room with the woman that broke your heart is not quite as painful as having the skin stripped slowly from your more vulnerable areas - but it's close.
Still, Grace remains his wife and she's hurt and there's a decent chance she could be killed if he doesn't protect her. Even though she wasn't faithful to him, he can't see himself abandoning her. When it's all over, yeah, he's going to drop her like a hot potato, dive into a liquor bottle and forget that he loved her. But not yet.
This is a good intro to a good, suspenseful story of mystery, intrigue and - yes - romance. And as some other reviewers have noted - that THREE LETTER WORD - SEX! There is sex, but it's not for titillation, unless you think that a man and woman who've been married for years, are running for their lives, and have suffered one of the most painful emotional traumas you can experience, would really spend all their time holding hands.
The book is well written, the plot makes sense and all the pieces fall into place at the end. And fittingly for a romance, the story in the end is as much about Ray and Grace's marriage as the criminal conspiracy they wind up involved in.
"Saving Grace" is well worth buying and reading.

Saving Grace

This is book 2 of the series and we were introduced to Grace and Ray in book 1, as side characters. They appeared there as a happily married couple so it was a shock when this book opens just after Grace has left Ray for another man. They are soon reunited as Grace rolls her car during her flight from their home, and suffers amnesia. She can't even remember who the other man is.
They end up going on the run together as it becomes clear that police officer Ray is being set up, and both of their lives are in danger.
This was a gripping second chance romance with danger and intrigue thrown in.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I just preferred book 1, which I gave 4 stars to. Got as a kindle freebie.
Still, this was a hugely enjoyable read.
Grace Morgan left her husband Police Detective Ray Morgan, stating she was leaving for another man, but that very night is involved in a car accident and has no memory of leaving her husband or indeed another man. Ray is advised to not tell her this, as it could do more harm than good, but struggles as he still loves his wife but is dealing with feelings of betrayal, while Grace is confused and wondering why Ray has changed toward her. Soon other things start to happen and it appears all may not be as it seems.
It is very well written. You could feel the pain and confusion that both characters felt. How they were both struggling with the situation they had found themselves in, but still loved each other.
It got a touch silly when they were on the run and in disguise, but it was still a hugely enjoyable read that was probably more in the suspense side of romantic suspense than the first book.
I just wish, because it happens with every story with amnesia in it that the author had not felt the need to add in the pregnancy and "oh no who is the father, I have no idea" plot. it is seriously in every amnesia storyline I have ever read, and you just know it is coming. I knocked off half a star for that, as it is just so predictable

Ray Morgan police detective gets a call to say his wife has been in a car accident and is in hospital. He is not to impressed as she just walked out on him when he goes to the hospital he discovers that she has amnesia and seems to have forgotten telling ray that she has a another lover. Grace wakes from her accident and all she wants is to cry on her husbands shoulder. Ray is advised by the doctor that its best for grace to get her own memory back so has agreed that he will look after her.
From the beginning of the story you can tell ray and grace have a powerful connection and you begin to feel sorry for both characters in their situation. You follow the story along with the characters and the many twists and turns that develop. It becomes apparent early on that someone is out to get Ray so he takes Grace and goes on the run.
This story is full of emotion and suspense and the plot and characters are very well developed.

Would They? Really?
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 9, 2014Verified Purchase
This is a well written and well edited story but for the first half although there is a lot of mystery, there is also lots of anger and resentment. Although this sort of thing occurs in real life, I was beginning to get a bit bored with it. I wanted more happiness and escapism in the story, or at least for the story to move on a bit faster. It was getting a little wearing that Grace was always holding the tears back and Ray was always scowling or speaking aggressively. When they decided to go on the run, I found myself saying - "Would they - really?". However, this did add to the story and it became more interesting. Then just as things are becoming clearer between Ray and Grace, she decides to take off on her own on a 'one woman mission'. Again, I asked myself "Would she - really?" It just didn't ring true. Fortunately, it all worked out well in the end so it was a reasonably pleasant read.

Second book of the series and just as well written as the first.
Intrigue and subterfuge abound, a strong storyline, well developed characters, this story really holds your attention. Amnesia creates misunderstandings and this in turn creates frictions between the main characters in the book.
Loved it, hot sexy alpha male who still feels the need to protect his wife even in the face of her infidelity, he's so angry and hurt, but still can't let her go and a heroine whose confidence grows, often out of necessity, and really comes into her own as the plot progresses.
Lots of sizzling passion between the two protagonists, they are on the run from the Russian mob and from the fear of the unknown risks which are unfolding in their damaged relationship.
Highly recommend this book.
