This is such a great film, one of the greatest war films ever and well-deserving of its many awards.

Saving Private Rian was the best war picture I have ever seen. It took the war viewing to a whole new level, while still greatly honoring those who fought. This movie gives all the credit and more to the fighting men in WWII. As a present day soldier it brought me closer to seeing what I would experience, and I believe this kind of movie should be shown to new recruits. It was a great movie and Speilberg really out did himself while still honoring those who fought in WWII.

This movie is an all-time instant classic! A great plot and plenty of action not just for the history buffs and war movie fans, but also for the casual audience. Ultimately, the final question would still be, "Is it worth sacrificing the lives of a few for the sake of one?"
It is worth watching this over and over again.
