I really enjoyed this book, I have always liked Kylie, she is feisty and tells it how it is. I love Wyatt and worried constantly clear til the end of this book about what was going to happen between the two of them, I won't say anything one way or another so not to spoil it. Heidi was funny as ever and her and Cal, now that will be yet another great book to read. I worry about the band breaking up and hope this is not something that is planned for the future. The chemistry between Kylie and Wyatt is so hot and I can't get enough of them. I love the trip that Wyatt and Kylie take together and what Wyatt does on this trip, how much more proof does she need. But then he screws up and doesn't stick to their agreement and it ruins everything, it broke my heart. I will say the whole thing about him having the wrong number was quite the stretch but I took it because I wanted there to be a reason for his behavior and what he said on those messages were beautiful. I loved the last chapter of this book, everything about it, and I was so excited to get started on reading Absorbed then Consumed.

CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!

So I, like so many other readers, was dying for this book to finally get posted on Amazon. I finally got the book and began to plow through it. I was disappointed in the length. There was so much history b/t the characters, and we get the idea, but not the full story. She has 22 blackbird tattoos ... Wyatt has let her down that many times, and she keeps going back for more? Their relationship was never defined by either of them - why? Was Kylie so intimidated by what the rock'n'roll lifestyle could mean for them, she doomed them from the beginning (self fulfilling prophecy)?

Kylie's cutting is thrown out there, but the emotional turmoil behind it was never explained. You'd think she didn't it b/c of all the drama w/ Wyatt, but it stopped b/c he asked her to stop. She did when she was younger as a coping mechanism, but for what? I found that strange.

In a way, I felt this book was a setup for a Heidi/Cal book. I found their interactions more interesting.

I like Emily's writing and really enjoyed her other books, I was just hoping for more.

If you have read Emily Snow’s Devoured series, you have met Lucas Wolfe’s little sister, Kylie, and his guitarist, Wyatt. I loved Kylie in Devoured. She is spunky and fun, with blue hair, tattoo’s and piercings- but we see a whole different side of her in Savor You.

Wyatt McRae was Kylie Wolfe’s first love. They have been doing the on again off again thing for the last 7 or 8 years- since Kylie has been 17. They have been through too much together. Their love is intense, real, yet they seem to be toxic for each other. Kylie can’t do it anymore. She can’t keep repeating the cycle. She has to call it quits for good this time.

She goes out of town to New Orleans with her best friend to clear her head. Wyatt follows her there. He can’t believe Kylie is really giving up on them. He has made a ton of mistakes in the past, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to fix them. He doesn’t want to be without Kylie.

Wyatt decides that taking a ‘road trip’ to places that are important to them will help his cause. Even though he doesn’t say the words, he loves Kylie. He needs to prove to Kylie he is serious about them. What better to do than get a tattoo?

It’s a rocky road for these two, will they be able to salvage what is left of their relationship and be able to start over, or are some wounds just too deep...

Kylie is one kick ass heroine. I like her a lot- but there was just something about Wyatt McRae... I just loved this rockstar. He is a sexy man, domineering and sweet. He really is willing to do whatever it takes to get Kylie to be his for good. Yep... he made me swoon!

This was an enjoyable read for me, I actually liked it a bit better than ‘Devoured’. The ending isn’t a cliffhanger, but I am ready for book 2 to see what happens between Kylie and Wyatt!!!

The perfect word to describe the theme of this book would be tortured. Tortured in the sense that the hero and heroine are two people who have been together on the relationship merry-go-round for close to a decade and can't seem to get it right regardless of the intense feelings they have for each other.

At the start of the book, the main character Kylie has taken a mini vacay from assisting her brother's band which includes the rock and roll bad boy Wyatt, whom she's loved since she was 17. The sole purpose of her girls trip vacation is to try and let go of the feelings she holds for Wyatt. All of that is shot to hell when he shows up in New Orleans to see her and prevent her from letting him go.

I absolutely adored Wyatt! He's sexy in that typical rockstar way but also has some deeper sides to him that you see as the book progresses. I loved the banter between him and Kylie throughout the book. I think it gave their relationship a little something extra and made it believable that they had been long time push-and-pull lovers.

I think Kylie has been one of my favorite heroines to read about thus far because she is a strong person, yet being around Wyatt strips her bare no matter how many guards she tries to put up. Characteristics like that makes the characters seem all the more real and believable to me so I tip my hat off to Emily Snow for her writing.

This book is a spin-off from the Devoured series and although you do not necessarily have to have read Devoured first, I would recommend it because the events of this story happen around the events of that story. I would recommend this book to readers who are looking for a short and sweet steamy read, mixed with a little bit of tortured romance.
