In the last year, this book has encouraged me to drop teaching for institutions who were taking 30-50% of my income, and it gave me the courage to pursue teaching music independently. I am confidently working on letting go of my non-music day job, and in spite of working full time in that position, I make 30% of my net income from the handful of students that I have using his business strategies! He makes the daunting task of being a full-time, professional musician feel a lot more accessible to those willing to take charge of their careers.
