About the Author

J. (Jewel) Adams stays crazy busy with her family and writing. She has written several books in different genres, mainly romance, and is also a motivational speaker to both youth and adult audiences. She is on the last leg of home schooling her two youngest, and between that and conjuring up new ideas for her books, her brain is completely fried most of the time. She and her husband Sean are the parents of eight children and grandparents to five, which means they are both losing hair, but hey, that's what Rogaine is for, right? In her spare time (when she has any) she likes to curl up with a good book and a healthy stash of orange Tic Tacs. She and her family reside in Utah. Jewel loves hearing from her fans, so if you would like to contact her to tell her how much you love her books or give her sympathy for the fried brain, or suggestions for the hair loss problem (for her husband, of course) contact her at jewela40@gmail.com To check out Jewel's other books, visit her website at JewelAdams.com And stop by her blog: jewelsbestgems.blogspot.com

The storyline was good, but I found it was lacking something. I kept reading, even though his country dialect was overdone, but at least I got a brief description of Jagger. At one point I had to look at the cover to see if this was an IR romance, because all I knew about the female was that she was easy going and beautiful. I just didn't get the 'WOW1' factor and good feeling that the other reviewers were raving about. Although the story was short, I thought so much more could have been said about ovarian cancer and her ordeal.

This novelette by Jewel Adams is a wonderful and heart-warming read! I was drawn into Capri's story right from the first page. My heart hurt for her when she found out she would never be able to bear her own children. Capri's story is full of emotion, heart-wrenching loss, and trying to find the strength and courage to learn to love! Will Capri risk her heart and will someone love her as she is? Find out and take a journey with Capri! Five stars for an excellent read!

Book Description
Free-spirited Capri Harris has always embraced life to the fullest, but a major health trial brings unexpected changes and her outlook shifts, leaving her with doubts of her worth to any man.
Like the force of a hurricane, Jagger Colby enters Capri's life, weakening her resolve and shaking the walls of self-preservation she has tried so hard to build around her heart.
But Capri knows that once Jagger discovers the truth about her, he will walk away and never look back.
When words mean everything, say what you need to say.

Mary's Review
Capri, a pretty part American Indian, part Jamacan 20 year old has just found out she has ovarian cancer and has to have a hysterectomy. Because of this she doesn't feel any man will love her because she cannot have children. She begins to doubt her self-worth as a woman and doesn't understand unconditional love.
Seth is Capri's older brother and loves Capri to the point that Capri refers to him as a mother hen. He also introduces Jagger to Capri.
Ahhh, then there's the handsome Jagger Colby-grey eyes, dark wavy hair, muscular, 30 years old. The kind of man any woman would be crazy not to fall for. Those grey eyes seem to be only for Capri.
Then to make it interesting and humuorous we have the mischievous set of twins, a drunk cow, and adults playing pranks.
I love this new novellett by J. Adams. It is full of clean romance, fun and a story of unconditional love. It is true what they say "The true experience of love comes from within the self". This is what Capri has to learn.

I really love J. Adams writing. She writes stories from the heart with characters, you can't help but fall in love with. Even though this is a short story, it didn't lose its essence.

Capri at twenty found out she had a terrible sickness, whose cure is life altering. She was prepared to live a life without love when Jagger bombarded his way into her life.

Jagger met and fell in love with Capri while working on the family farm. He knew she loved him as much as he loved her, but she kept holding back. He persevered and when she revealed her secret, expecting him to walk away; he proved otherwise. They went on th have their HEA.

This book is short Its only 51 pages but it is such a sweet honest story. Capri has been dealt a bad hand for a twenty year old. She has ovarian cancer. She had surgery and underwent radiation. She is on the mend physical. Mentally she is still dealing with the aftermath. Jagger is a man her parents hired to work the farm. As soon as he sees Capri he is drawn to her. Will this romance take off. Read this short story. It is great

This is a very inspirational story that a lot of people need to read. We all have things that makes us feel differently about our lives. This story just happens to be about cancer. But it does not matter what we have to endure, if you allow God to be in our lives, all things are possible.

This is a great clean story and I really appreciated that the guy does not walk away when the girl is less than perfect. It is a short story, good for an relaxing read when there is little time for something longer.

Great book and story line. I wanted more of the story for the price I paid. I think the reader gets ripped off.
