Some interesting concepts held back by some needed editing, an apparent discomfort handling intimacy and the relatively mild sexual content, and the slightly overused big bad corporations trope.
Fortunately, the intimacy and mild sexual content are a miniscule portion of this novel.
Rest assured there is plenty to keep you engaged beyond that. There are secrets, conspiracies, and exciting confrontations, thrilling chases, and amazing escapes through the maze-like city and the artificial cyber world that much of humanity jacks into.
That being said, it is still a pretty good read, lays a lot of groundwork for a larger universe, and the battles both in the main reality and in the cyber reality were handled very well.
