I read a lot of the reviews on this product before I purchased it, and I was a little worried after I saw someone with a bald spot, but felt it was still worth a shot.
I can honestly say I’m glad I gave it a chance!
I was so excited for this item to show up that I opened it as soon as it arrived and gave it a go on my dry hair. I was careful not to drag it through the length of my hair, or create tangles and knots, simply using it against my scalp with gentle pressure in small circles. It felt nice and no hair got stuck, so after gently trying it a few more times in a couple more spots, I felt comfortable enough to try it when my hair was wet (read: more fragile).
I applied shampoo to the roots of my hair and then grabbed this, using it the same way I did with my dry hair, carefully, small circles with gentle pressure, all over my scalp, not dragging it through the length of my hair. It felt great, worked wonderfully, and I didn’t find a single hair on it when I pulled it away from my head. Overall it seems to work great, no issues, no hair loss, great experience. I can’t complain and will be happy to use this again in the future.

So far I have only used this item two times, so I can’t speak to longevity. I do see where the item might allow some water to collect in it, which might result in mold/mildew issues. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for it.

As I use the item if I experience issues I will update the review!

Because of allergies, I can't use most medicated options for the psoriatic outbreaks on my scalp, so I was looking for an alternative treatment. The first few times I used it, I noticed an increase in flakes due to the exfoliating action of the brush. But by the 4th or 5th time using, the amount of flakes, as well as the number of sore spots and scales on my scalp were greatly reduced (not to mention overall itching). This effect seems to last several days between washes, which is great for curly hair that can only be washed once or twice a week. I've also found that by applying shampoo directly to the brush, I can reduce the amount of shampoo used, which is great as I use a somewhat expensive shampoo for my shoulder length curly hair. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend.

I don't use mine all the time, but when I’ve needed it – it’s been great.

When it's been a while since my last shower or I've just been doing a ton of activity and have gotten really sweaty and dirty - this has been more than helpful in getting to my roots and scalp.

My scalp can become itchy and just get so uncomfortable when a lot of sweat, oil, or dirt has gathered and sometimes regular shampooing or washing doesn’t cut it – because my hair is deceptively thick – as in thin individual strands, but so many of them (so, so, so many).

So, this had been a great tool in being that extra boost of scrubbing I need for my hair at times, without taking it too far or damaging my hair.

Usually, when I use a conditioner in my hair, it feels soft post-use, but kinda dry/frail at the same time, that's why I use oil in my hair after conditioner. HOWEVER, after buying this, and using it to brush oil through my hair (on a day I did not use conditioner) ONCE, my hair has never felt softer! This thing alone seems to soften my hair with oil BETTER than conditioner! It was very ergonomic, and the only reasons I didn't give it 5 stars was that water seemed to get stuck in it (although there's a video that shows you how to dismantle It, so you can probably get it out) and other minor things ( fit was 90 percent ergonomic, 10 percent clunky). Seems to work best only damp hair. All in all, this thing is a MIRACLE! Thank you, MAXSOFT!

I have got a scalp prone to scaling and itching, I have found that since using the brush to massage the shampoo into my hair and scalp, the the poor condition of my scalp has improved. I also use the massager to work scalp oil into my scalp and also once per day I will gently rub my scalp using the brush- so this stops me scratching with my fingers and making the skin even more tender. Definately a keep, I love it!
